"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do it!" Tears streamed down my face as I was put in the back of the cop car. My hands were cuffed behind my back. "It was an accident! I'm sorry!" I laid down in the back hiccuping hysterically. I pushed my face into the leathers seat. "I'm so sorry." I whispered to myself.

No one paid attention to me. No one believed me. But why would they? I did do it. But I didn't mean to. Things just got out of hand. It was an accident. I'm just a teenager they cant through me in jail.

I felt like I was going to throw up.

How could this of happened? Why did I do that? I didn't mean to do it.

I cried harder. "Please someone believe me!" I yelled at the window. The car hadn't even moved yet. I wanted to get out of there. I couldn't take it anymore.

People ran by. Fellow classmates were crying. The paramedics already left. The cops were everywhere. I saw my mom and dad talking to an officer. My mother in tears while my dad tried comforting her.

I watched more people screaming, crying, people just standing in shock. My eyes roamed when they landed on my best friend Amanda. She just stared at me. Like I was a total stranger to her.

I pleaded to her with my eyes. She was right next to me when it happened. She had to of known it was an accident. Would she admit it to the cops or was she afraid? She has to tell the truth. She was right there. Anyone could have seen it was an accident.

A cop got into the car and drove off towards the police station without a word.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

A woman around the age of 30 sat across from me in the pale gray room. She sat behind a table with her hands folded. Her hair was pulled back in a tight dull brown bun.

I always thought that police officers interrogate you but this lady was dressed like a lawyer. She had a dark grey skirt suit that you could tell was tailored just to fit her small frame.

I had stopped crying hours ago. My face felt dirty and tight from all the tears.

It had taken six hours just to get me into this room. I just wanted to go home and sleep this day away. Just get away from this nightmare.

"Ms.Matthews are you okay with me asking you a few questions now?" She sounded like one of those people you dont fuck with when they dont get their coffee in the morning.

"Yes." Me throat strained. She nodded.

"Well we're not supposed to do this but I think it will help you trust me more. My name is Cindy Zeller."

She was right it did make me feel more comfortable that I knew her name. "You may call me Detective Zeller." Okay comfortable feeling gone.

I nodded again. "Okay now." She leaned back in the chair. "Do you want to tell me what happened?"

I couldn't stop myself. I came forward in my seat and leaned on the table. The words just slipped out my mouth.

.-.-FLASHBACK-.-.

I decided to get a ride from Amanda than drive myself to the party this time. I drove last time which refrained my from getting drunk. I planned on getting totally hammered.

I waited for Amanda on my front step.

A Nissan GTR pulled up in front of me. Its drivers window rolled down. "Well someone looks sexy today." I laughed and walked around to the other side.

I hopped in the car. "You look extremely fabulous as well darling." I said imitating a British accent. We both laughed and she drove towards the party.
