It had been two months since the accident and they finally got me a date to go to court. I was really nervous. I looked up and the aging building in front of me. I tried swallowing but my throat felt dry. People were rushing in and out. Lawyers, clients, business people. I didn't want to go in.This day was determining my fate all in a few hours. Who wouldn't be scared.

I looked over at my mom. She gave my arm a squeeze. "Everything will be fine honey." Her lips pulled into a tight smile. I know she was trying to make it better but who smiles at times like this?

"Come on Paige we need to be in there now." My dad sounded strained. I know he was up all night. I didn't want to stress him out anymore so I headed towards the decaying building.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

Well it was official. They weren't going to put me in jail. Which I literally jumped for joy. But isn't there always a catch to something. And with the luck I have there are defiantly no perfect moments.

You see I'm not going to jail BUT I have to go to some school. No one told me what its called or how this is a proper punishment for murder.

Thank God I don't live in Texas. If three people witnessed you killing someone you'd get the death sentence. There was well over three people that saw.

I sighed staring out the window of the car. My dad was driving while mom held the map. I didn't want to leave, but yet who would? I had to travel out of state just to get to this stupid school. And get this:students aren't aloud to live campus. Ever. Well not until our 18th birthday that is.

From what I've been told they have dorms. We're not aloud to share with anyone though, which I am totally okay with.

Honestly I'm not really a people person. I can get along with people but that doesn't mean I like them. Now that I'm going to a whole new school there will be tons of people that I don't know. I scowled at the thought of making new friends. I was lucky enough to have the friends I got. Scratch that; friends I used to have. I tried contacting Amanda before I left but I couldn't get a hold of her. I can understand though. I mean who would want to be friends with a murderer. Even my parents have been acting distant lately. Almost like they're scared of me. They were fine at first but when I told them the story they just...I don't know. I feel like they don't recognize me anymore.

My house is in Pennsylvania but now I was going to 'live' in Ohio. Big move right. I don't know If its really rural out there or city. Pennsylvania was a mix of both but I lived in the city all my life. If I have to do farm work I'm gonna kill someone.

...........I shivered. Okay maybe I wont kill someone but you get my point.

The scenery changed on the outside of the car. We were driving though a shit load of trees a minute ago, now every things so...open. There were fields everywhere and the gravel road changed to asphalt. I sat up straight and looked through the windshield. It was a straight shot to this huge building. It was huge when we were far away just imagine up close.

From this far you could see a giant wall surrounding the school. Well it was a fence but whatever same thing. As we got closer i saw at the top of the fence was barbed wire and several surveillance cameras. The fence itself was intimidating enough.

The car pulled up to the front gate. There were two guards there one looking like he was from the secrete service and the other was wearing a bulletproof vest over a jacket. They both had earpieces in. The one with the bulletproof vest came over to the car. My dad handed him some papers to him so we could get in the school.

The man confirmed the paperwork and signaled the secrete service guy to open the gate. Mr. Secrete nodded and walked toward a small boxed in area. Mr. Vest stepped away from our car and the gate slowly creaked open.
