"This is sick," Renzo instantly spat, moving to pace around the room.

"We're on live right now... How many people are watching us?" Alene muttered.

"Wasn't there a show about this kind of thing a while back..." Anakin whispered to himself, but I didn't have time to think about his words before the world around us fell apart.

The room morphed into what seemed to be an abandoned factory. A crossbow was in my hands. I looked to the others and saw that they all had different weapons, as well.

"Oh, don't tell me we have to kill each other," Kian groaned to the sky.

He was proven wrong by a gurgling set of moans from behind a wall.

"Okay, has anyone never played a shooter game?" Anakin shouted to us.

I had played my fair share of PVP and shooter games; it was how I got into parkour. Ekon shook his head and raised his hand.

"Okay, then stay by my side. You have a handgun, and those are hard for beginners to maneuver."

"Anakin, what's even happening?" Renzo spoke up, irritated.

"This isn't just any map," Anakin replied. "This is Zombie Crushers 2."

"This is what now?!" Kian screeched.

Anakin looked to all of us.

"Everyone, follow me. I know a place where we can get to high ground and it'll be easier to take these guys down. If you run into any trouble, scream."

Anakin began running into the factory, and we all followed behind him. I would've marveled at the developers' attention to detail. Machines were rusted over and water dripped from spare pipes in the ceiling. We made our way up a flight of stairs and eventually to the roof. A pile of discarded metal and rusted-over pipes at one corner of the roof.

"Alene, you go to the top of the pile. You have a sniper gun."

Said girl did as she was told.

"Kian, you go to her right. You have a rifle, so make sure to keep it still when you shoot. Oh, and that applies to you, too, Alene."

     Kian moved into position.

"Echo, go to Alene's left. The crossbow should reload the arrows automatically, so just make sure to keep your eyes away from the scope because of the kickback."

     I went to the pile.

"Renzo, you have a carbine. Go to my left. Ekon, get to my right. We're gonna be the first line of defense."

As they moved into their positions by the pile, moans and groans echoed from the entrance as if on queue. The first zombies began to make their way to us. I felt nauseous at the sight of them.

They were all sickly green; not quite green to fit the general image of a zombie, but not quite right, either. They were all covered in a variety of different wounds and moved erratically, almost as if they were possessed by something otherworldly. Anakin fired his submachine gun and took off the head of one of the zombies. I aimed at another and managed to shoot an arrow through its neck. It twitched and spazzed before tripping to the ground. More began to trickle out of the door.

Ekon aimed at one and when he fired the shot, his arm flew up.

"No, no, hold it with both hands. Make sure to have a good grip on it," Anakin explained as he shot at more zombies.
