Sweet creature, sweet creature
wherever I go, you bring me home...2 years later...
It's been two years and Louis hasn't seen Harry in forever. He expected them both to just have a little break and patch things up but, it didn't work that way.
Louis was still staying at their old apartment, not wanting to leave in hope Harry would come back to talk or something.
It was 9:00 pm in California and Louis was sitting on the couch in the living room. He was looking at a photo album that he and Harry made a long time ago. He saw the most recent picture that they put in. It was the picture of the two of them going to New York for the first time in the winter.
That was a special week for them. That was when Harry gave Louis a promise ring.
FLASHBACK
Harry came back to the hotel room with his right hand behind his back. Louis was laying on the white-sheeted bed on his phone texting his best friend Liam.
"I have a surprise for you!" Harry said softly.
Louis looked up at Harry and saw that he was covering his hand. He then sat up in confusion, wondering what the tall green-eyed boy was holding.
"What's the surprise?" Louis asked.
"It's a promise."
"Huh?"
Harry pulled out the ring and showed it to Louis.
"A promise ring?" Louis asked starting to cry.
"Yeah. I wanted you to promise me you will be mine forever no matter what. That even if we're on thin ice, we will always find a way for it not to break and take us under."
"I promise," Louis said softly. He put the ring on and jumped off of the bed into Harry's arms.
"I love you Hazza."
"I love you too."

After reliving that moment, Louis was crying. He closed the photo album and ran upstairs to his bedroom to get the promise ring. Ever since Harry left, Louis has always kept it there. He felt there was no reason to have it on if Harry wasn't with him anymore.Right next to the promise ring was the ring Harry was going to propose with. All that did was make Louis cry harder. He pictures what their wedding would've been like. What it would be like to start a family with Harry and watch them grow up. Louis never regretted anything more than this in his life.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. He walked down the stairs and looked through the peephole to see who it was knocking. It was Harry on the other side. In his mind, he knew it wasn't him. It was his imagination trying to trick him. Make him think that Harry was there to see him again. But it couldn't be.
Louis wiped his tears and opened the door.
"H-Harry?" Louis stuttered.
"Hi, Louis," Harry said softly.
The two stood there staring at each other. Not believe the other was right in front of them.
"W-What are you doing here?" Louis was crying. For about the third time tonight.
"I missed you. I've spent the past year trying to find myself. But then I realized, I'm not myself unless I'm with you."
"Harry..."
"I know you may not love me anymore but I still love you. I want to make this work again. Get back what we had when we were so in love and had no care in the world."
"Of course I still love you Haz, I never stopped. I made a big mistake letting you go like that and I really regret it. All I want is for you to hold me again."
"If you allow it, it can happen."
Louis crashed into Harry almost tackling him. He squeezed him so tight and let his head rest in the crook of Harry's neck. Harry held Louis and kissed his forehead gently. This is what they were missing. The gentle kisses, the warm hugs, and home.
The two reluctantly let go of one another and just stare. They felt their spark again. The same spark that was there when they first met.
"Can I come home?"
"I thought you never ask."
I'm so sad that this is over=( This was honestly one of my favorites to write about.
