After 'Cut' is Called, a Sprousehart Story

But... um...

~Cole's p.o.v.~

I'm in my bed staring at the wall waiting for the facetime call I am supposed to get from Lili, hoping my phone will ring soon, but it doesn't. I finally come to terms with the fact Lili isn't going to call me tonight so I lay down and try to sleep. As I slowly drift off my phone starts to ring. It's Lili's ring tone. I quickly roll over to get it and I pick it up just in time. "Hey Babe" I sat with a huge grin. "Hi Cole" she said a bit tiredly, I think she's really sleepy but I'm glad she still called. "So how was dinner and everything?" I ask still laying with my head in the pillow. "Really good.... but.....um....." "what is it Lils, you know you can tell me" I say desperate to know what she's holding in
"well... um.. there was a waiter..."
"yeah?"
"And he well...."
"I swear to God Lili if he hurt you I'm going to fly there right now and find him and kill him." But she cut me off
"God no Cole, he just, he just kept staring at my boobs and at Cami's legs. But don't worry she confronted him and he apologised" I breathed out
"Okay, But still, are you okay babe?" I asked staring right into my eyes
"I'm okay I guess" She says and rest her head back on the pillow.
"Lils if you're tired, just put your phone on the charger and put it next to you and we can stay on all night again. I also really love to hear you sleep, if that's not too creepy" She doesn't say anything, just nods into the camera and plugs her phone in and puts it down, snuggle into my hoodie and goes to sleep.

I hear her breathing change as she drifts off to sleep and before I know it I'm asleep too. But before I know it I am awoken by sobbing. I straight away get up and grab my phone to look if she's picked it up but she hasn't. "Cole please don't leave me. You're all I have, you're my world, my best friend. I just want to be with you forever. Please don't go" then I hear a loud gasp followed by a number of sobs. I figure that she is awake now so I say "shhhhh, Lils, it's okay, you're okay. I'm here. Talk to me, or just listen to my voice" she grabs her phone rapidly and looks into it. I have the light on so she can see my face even though I can't see because it makes it so bright. I see that it's four in the morning and that she must be so tired.
{I'm aware that their time zones might be different but let's just pretend they are the same}
"Honey, everything is going to be okay. I am right here, no one is ever should to take me away from you and I will never leave you. You are my best friend, my everything. I don't think I could live without you so don't worry" I say almost more for myself then her, realising that all the words coming out of my mouth are the words I have been thinking but to scared to admit are true.

After about twenty minutes she has finally calmed down and is slowly drifting back off to sleep. I turn off my light and wait to see when she is fully asleep before I put my phone down and go to sleep too.

When she is asleep I put my phone down, anticipating the time I can see her again, which after all is only ten hours.

I wake up and it's the morning, it's light outside and I see that Lili's still asleep, I know that she has to leave soon so I quietly say "Lili" repeatedly, gradually getting louder until she wakes up. She stirs and rolls over so I can't see her face anymore. "Hey roll over so I can see your beautiful face" then she she rolls back over with a huge smile on your face. "Come on, you need to hurry up and get up so you can pack up and finish work so you can come back to me" Then she jumps up and goes into the bathroom with her phone I hand. She sets me up so I can see her and we talk for a bit while she gets ready. We mostly talk about what's been happening on set and what questions she's been asked in interviews. Then we start taking about how long until she comes home.

"Only 5 hours until you're on the plane on your way back to me and in my arms again, I say reminding her which seems to make her really happy. Then we hear a knock on her door and I hear Cami shouting. Lili goes out and opens the door for her. They start talking but I can't quite hear what about so I just ignore it. Then Lili comes back in with a Starbucks cup in hand which I'm guessing is hot chocolate because that is about the only thing she will drink from there.

Cami walks into the bathroom behind Lili and sits on the toilet seat while Lili is finish ring off her makeup. We all talk for a bit and then it is time for them to go which I'm a bit upset about but I'll get to see Lili soon so that will be okay. Then I realise I have to go to work So I get up, grab my keys and phone then run out the door, not wanting to be any later than I already am.
