"You've got people everywhere wondering why you decided to go to the one bar where that girl disappeared, you should be able to say something to ease their minds!"

Camila didn't know how she ended up at her parents house, sitting in the kitchen being scolded at like a three year old by her one and only mother.

Sinu was rambling on and on, and Camila could barely concentrate on what she was trying to say.

"Mami," she attempted to butt in. "my management won't let me put anything out there directly regarding Lauren. It's always been that way for her and for the other girls."

"Karla, you should not have to follow every little thing they tell you." Sinu told her. "You have the right to speak your mind, for goodness sake. That's why we came to this country."

Camila sighed, and pondered over it for a minute.

She should say something about it, right? She can't just pretend like nothing happened, or that might make matters worse.

People could really think that she had something to do with Lauren's disappearance, and that's not something she wanted.

But what if I do have something to do with it. she thought to herself. That bartender said I looked familiar. But I couldn't have been the mystery person in the hoodie, could I?

It didn't even matter whether she was or not. At least, not at that point in time. All she cared about was showing the world what her intentions were.

Her Mami was right. She couldn't be afraid of her management forever, and she does have the freedom of speech.

So as a result, Camila hopped on Twitter, and typed out a few posts regarding the situation.

@Camila_Cabello: I know you guys are confused about why I went to that bar last night, and that some of you think I'm responsible for something that happened there weeks ago. But I'd like to come clean with the truth.

@Camila_Cabello: I'm gonna be pretty straightforward with this. I went there because I needed answers as to where Lauren might've disappeared to, and because I still genuinely care about her. Same goes for all the other girls who used to be in the group with me.

She posted both of them, and shut off her Twitter for the time being because she didn't want to concern herself with whatever backlash she was about to get.

There was something else she decided she had to do, though.

[1:51 PM] Hey again Lo,
I just exposed myself on
Twitter for still caring about
you and stuff. Kinda funny,
right?

[1:52 PM] But it's true. As much as
I've hated myself for it, I just
can't bring myself to despise you.
It hurts so much sometimes, but
I'm numb to it by now.

"Who're you texting?" Sinu asked from beside Camila's shoulder.

Camila shut her phone off as soon as she heard her Mami's voice, and smiled at her sheepishly.

"Nobody. I actually just posted about what was happening with the whole bar thing on Twitter, like you said I should."

Sinu smiled at this. "Good mija, I'm glad you followed my advice."

Camila smiled back at her, and watched as she left the room.

All of a sudden, she got a text message, and her heart started racing at all of the possibilities.
