Chapter 15

The walk to your room was peaceful, the build up to the oncoming uproar was undeniably one of the scariest and most calming time you've ever spent with these boys. You had been talking with Chaelin whilst Daehyun lead you to her stop first. And once she was gone, you sought comfort by talking to Daehyun.

The friendly conversation of the game and how he was only 12 was enough to distract you for a few minutes. He spoke highly of 56, saying how grateful he was for him to even hold his card and levelling him up to level 125- just under doubling your cards levels.

Despite this, there was no shrugging off the looks that were no doubt directed from Yoongi. Every time you felt his gaze on your back, you shivered. Without turning your head to him, you could tell his look was cold and stoic as he prepared his lecture in his mind.

The peace didn't last long after your conversation with Daehyun ceased. The room door had opened and with a short goodbye, Daehyun left you to the wrath of your own cards.

The door closed and chaos broke loose.

"What were you thinking?" Yoongi began, his voice raised as he looked towards you.

You didn't meet his gaze.

"You- How- why..." his voice broke as he tried to form words into sentences, but to no avail. His thought out lecture dissipated to nothing. He seemed to have a realisation as he fell onto one of the chairs, his once angry look turning to one of confusion, fear and anxiety.

You had no idea, but Yoongi had been to this 'tower' before. It's were everything always ended badly. Where her rein was ended. Where his brothers died for her. And where his body was killed into who he is today.

He didn't want to go back.

He didn't want to lose another family.

And have them relive the fate that had been bestowed upon his past.

The room was silent for a while and you had positioned yourself on one of the beds, sat with your back against the backboard and Jungkook laying his head on yours. The other boys were floating around the room, leant against walls, sat on chairs or simply standing there unknowing what to do.

Jimin was rubbing Yoongi's back as Yoongi sat head in his hands trying to suppress himself from looking like a baby. He didn't want to cry anymore as he had already done enough of that.

Jimin opened his mouth to speak into the noiseless room. "We'll have to face this, whether it be today or tomorrow or the day after that... all we can do is prepare. Who cares if we might be endangering our lives? Haven't we been doing that since the moment we spawned in. What's one more dungeon."

"But this... this isn't like a normal dungeon, Jimin-" Yoongi tried to argue but was cut off by Jimin.

"So what if it isn't a normal dungeon? When we go in we have to take that risk, or we'll be trapped here forever..."

Yoongi seemed to scoff and mumble something to himself, that no one was able to catch. Yoongi then leaned back in his chair, Jimin removing his hand.

"I guess it's time we get you lot out?" He said with a fake smile that everyone bought.

"We'll be dragging you with us, Hyung," Taehyung chuckled out seeing the atmosphere lift little by little.

"Yep. No time for being sleepy now!" Jimin bounced back and the room was no longer as tense as it was beforehand.

The soft chatter didn't include you and Jungkook. You were both simply taking in each other's company, observing the boys around you. You felt a small tug on your arm causing you to turn to the source of the pull.

"Can we talk?" Jungkook whispered into your ear, leaning forward so the conversation could be between only the two of you. His question caused you to tilt your head, but you nodded back.

Jungkook then stood up, his hand wrapping around yours as he began to gently guide you out of the room. The others noticed but didn't question it.

He lead you down multiple corridors before guiding you towards a balcony. You hadn't seen the time fly till now as the sun was already set and the stars were beginning to emerge.

You both stood out in the open air, the slight breeze dancing around the two of you as you stared out at the twinkling lights above. The cold seemed to calm your heart as you waited anxiously for Jungkook to speak what was on his mind.

"What's going to happen... y'know to us?" The questioned seemed to float between the two of you, no sound being heard in reply.

"I'm not too sure..." your uncertainty was evident as you shuffled closer towards Jungkook to rest your head against him. His arm wrapped around you as you looked up at him, him returning your gaze.

"I don't want to lose you, Y/n..."

"Promise." He spoke before grabbing one of your hands and wrapping your pinkies together. "We'll meet each other again? Out of the game?"

It took you a moment before you put your thumbs together. You leaned into him, reaching up to meet his height placing chaste kiss on his lips. His own followed afterwards as you mumbled out your answer.

"I promise."

He let his arms travel to your waist, your own wrapping around his neck. You got lost in each other as you gazed into each others eyes your hearts beating together as you joined together for a slow, passionate kiss. The tempo was easy as you both enjoyed this moment, clinging onto it as if it was your last.

He pulled apart and rested his forehead against yours, eyes closed as you breathed together under the stars.

"I love you..." the small waver in his timid voice seemed so loud to you, his words coming out as a sigh as he released his emotions. A tear dropped down from his eyes as he reopened them to reveal his gloss covered eyes.

"I love you too..." you gently caressed his cheek before he leaned into you, resting on your shoulder and tightening his grip.

"Stay with me forever."

His words reached them.
