I woke up and looked around. Archie was still sleeping next to me. I quietly snuck out of the bed, got dressed and walked to the hall.
"Hey, sorry, I didn't know Archie had a guest" someone said behind.
I turned around and saw a girl in her mid twenties. She looked me up and down before walking over to shake my hand.
"My name's Emma"
"Hi, Veronica"
I must've looked at her with a suspicious look cause she took a few steps back and looked down at the floor.
"I, ehm, I am a friend of Archie's mom. She helped me when I got pregnant as a teen and I used to live here until I got an apartment a few months ago. Anyways, I come here to clean sometimes as a 'thank you' for taking care of me"
I wasn't sure what to respond so I just nodded at her.
"Do you want some breakfast? I was gonna make pancakes"
"It's fine"
"You sure? I was gonna make some anyways, so you're welcome to stay"
I checked the time and apparently it was only 8am. Last night we had gone to bed pretty early after cuddling, making out and (even though I said it wouldn't happen again) having sex.
"Well then I guess I'm staying for awhile"
I walked after her into the kitchen and she started to make some pancakes. I just sat there and looked at her. I almost started to wish I hadn't said yes cause I felt more and more awkward every second.
"You want some chocolate in them?"
"What?"
I realized I had been lost in my own thoughts once again.
"Do you want chocolate in your pancakes?"
"Sure"
"Do you know if Archie will wake up soon? Just wondering if I should make some for him too"
"I don't know, this is the first time I..."
I didn't finish the sentence cause I wasn't sure what to say. That this was the first time I slept over cause it was the first time I had slept with Archie? It didn't really sound so good.
"Don't worry, I get it. I was just wondering if he was awake when you tried to sneak out"
"He wasn't. And I didn't sneak out"
"Really? Then what do you call leaving someone when they're still asleep without telling them?"
"Me needing to go home"
"Well you're still here, aren't you?"
"Cause I'm hungry"
"Then you weren't in such a rush home I guess"
"Emma, I thought I heard your voice"
Archie walked into the kitchen. He apparently hadn't heard my voice cause he looked surprised to see me.
"Veronica, you're still here"
"Ehm , yeah. But I can leave if you want me to"
"No, it's fine. I just didn't think you were staying"
He looked at Emma with a look I didn't understand, but she must've understood cause she rolled her eyes at him and then smiled at me. I was guessing that Archie didn't want me there, or at least didn't want Emma to have invited me in.
"I'm just gonna use the bathroom" I said to break the tension and walked to the bathroom.
I didn't really need to go, but when I was there I decided to wash my face. The water felt nice on my blushing face. I decided to walk back to the kitchen and say that I would have to leave, cause I didn't feel like staying in a room where I didn't feel welcomed.
I started to walk back but stopped when I heard Archie mention my name.
"Why did you invite her to breakfast?"
"Because she obviously slept over so I thought she might be hungry. Just because you don't feed the girls you sleep with"
"But you've never invited anyone else to stay"
"Cause all the other girls have been stupid, Veronica seems good"
"She is"
"Am I sensing that you're starting to fall for her?"
"No. I don't know-"
"So breakfast was great, but I have to leave" I said interrupting Archie so that he couldn't finish his sentence.
"You okay?" Emma asked me.
"Yeah, I just have to get home before mom or dad wonders where I am"
"Okay bye" Archie and Emma said as I disappeared out of the door.
I didn't have a car and Archie had drove me there the day before which meant I had to walk. Not really what I had planned, but I had only walked for like a minute when a car pulled up next to me.
"Walk of shame?" Reggie asked as he opened the door for me to get in.
"What do you mean?" I said as I got in the car.
"I saw you walk out of Archie's house"
"Oh that. Well, if you wanna call it walk of shame, I guess that's what it was"
He raised his eyebrows at me and I knew he wanted me to explain.
"Please just drive home, I don't have the energy to talk about it" I said and leaned back in my seat.
I closed my eyes and for the first time it hit me what I had done. I had had sex with Archie, multiple times. And worst of all, I had enjoyed it. I opened my eyes and slightly shook my head, it did not mean anything. And before I interrupted him, he was just gonna say he wasn't getting feelings for me. I mean who was I kidding. He's Archie Andrews and he didn't have girlfriends. I knew it, he knew it, everyone knew it. I had just wanted sex and he was there so one thing led to another and now here we are. This whole 'falling for a bad boy' felt too cliché for me. What had happened wouldn't happen again. Now I was gonna go back to being the 'old' Veronica who hung out with her friends and tried to get through school, not someone who fell for Archie Andrews. Too many girls had done it before, and none of them had gotten over it yet.
Reggie dropped me off at my house a few minutes later and I walked inside. I looked at the clock in the kitchen and it showed 9am. My parents were probably already at work, cause the house was quiet. I walked to my room and lay down on my bed.
Asshole;
Thanks for last night;)I put my phone away, that was enough Archie for one day.

FanficA short story about the characters Veronica Lodge and Archie Andrews. It has nothing to do with the actual show, I've just borrowed the characters. Also this is a short story so it won't be that long. **Bad language and sexual scenes**
