"Uno~"
"Oh."
"Damn."
"Ughh."
A win goes to Hisoka, for the ninth goddamn time in a row.
You four have been playing this friendship-ruining, family-destroying card game called 'UNO' for the past few hours now. After that disgusting shower incident with Hisoka, you desperately wanted to keep your mind off it by playing this game.
And so far, none of you, except Hisoka have won.
"Can we do something else? Hisoka keeps winning and it's honestly making me feel sick." You remarked with your chin on your palm as you toss your cards to the floor.
"Awe, you shouldn't ruin the fun (Y/n) dear~" Hisoka cooed out smugly, fondling with his card.
"Besides, it was your idea to play this atrocious game." Illumi added, his piercing glare affixed at Hisoka.
"Maybe we should do something else," Chrollo began as he started to rearrange his deck, "This is getting boring." He added.
Hisoka made a sad, fake pout as he stared at his card, "Oh..~and I was just getting started..." He trailed off coquettishly.
You deadpanned, "Just getting started?" You repeat what he just said.
"Even so, winning all the time is getting pretty boring." Hisoka began, "So let's do something else!" He exclaimed as he clasped his hands together in a sickly sweet manner.
"What are we going to do then?" Illumi asked blankly, placing back the cards inside the small 'UNO' box.
Hisoka thought for while, with his index finger and his thumb propped to his chin.
"How about we fight?" He suggested, you immediately frowned at the thought.
Chrollo spoke up "Hisoka why would you—"
"Oh come on! It's been days since I got a good match, you know very well that I'm not very..." He paused, eyes , "Patient...when it comes to my bloodlust."
Chrollo can see you visibly shifting uncomfortably from the corner of his eye. "Shall we, (Y/n)~? You seem like a strong, worthy opponent..." Hisoka purred out,
leaning forward as you roughly scoot away."No! I mean...no, no thanks..." You say, trailing off. You then jolt up, remembering something very important as panic bubbles in your chest.
Illumi blinked, "What--"
"I FORGOT TO DELIVER A BOOK TO A CUSTOMER. OHGODOHGODOHGOD." You yell out, hurriedly grabbing your things, the trio watched you in disbelief as you pace back and forth, rummaging through your sling bag.
"Where is it? Where is it? His number and address should be in here..!" You ramble out as you kept looking for the small piece of paper, at that the three men urked at your sentence.
'His..?' Chrollo thought.
'Number...' Illumi trailed off in his head.
'Nice another victim.' Hisoka thought with satisfaction.
"Ah! There it is..!" You let out a sigh of relief, relaxing as you hold out a small piece of paper. You glanced at the others and give a sheepish smile, "I gotta go, work. Sorry!" You explain, then as you were beginning to leave, Hisoka stood in front of the door, with a saccharine smile.
You glared "Hisoka what-"
"It isn't very safe out there little (Y/n)~" He said with a fake frown, patting your head making you grumble. "Excuse me good sir, I can get to the store myself--" You begin to walk, "Ah Ah Ah~! (Y/n)~" He said, outstretching his broad arm blocking you from the door.
"You'll get lost dear~, you can't even find your way around our house how will you be able to find your way through these streets hm~?" He teased with a mocking grin and his eyebrow arched. You frowned, before letting out a defeated sigh.
"Fine--" You began, "Great! I'll be coming with you~" He immediately said, taking you by the arm and opening the door with a smile, "Hisoka--" Chrollo began but was interrupted by the sound of the doors slamming shut.
Illumi had the slightest frown on his face as they both stared longingly at the doorway,
Aw shit--
(Your Point Of View)
"Hisoka please stop holding my hand." You say to him with an obvious deadpan, ever since you two came out of the house his grip on your hand was as tight as death.
People have been staring at you two now, it's weird. You couldn't blame them either, who wouldn't stare at a six feet tall clown holding the hand of a girl who's a head lower than him as they strut down the street almost in sync. Oh and you look dead by the way so I guess that adds.
Hisoka hummed as if in deep thought, before smiling at you, "How about...no?" He replied before letting a deep chuckle, you frowned as you tried to yank your hand, but it wouldn't budge.
After a while, you gave up and just let your hand hang there, sulking at the fact that your hand was getting uncomfortable under his grip.
You're almost there, you recognize this street, all you have to do is pass by the seemingly dark alleyway and your shop will be right around the corner.
You always hated every time you had to pass by here, you saw a rat that was the size of a fully grown cat once eating the garbage, it's rotting stench lingers in your nostrils to this day.
So now, you're on full alert and are ready to beat up any rat when you see one.
As you two were passing by, a man popped up from the smelly garbage bin like a fucking phantom, a phantom that was holding a gun that is.
Your eyebrows furrowed.
"St-" As the man was about to even utter a word, you gave out a quick yelp and then, as if it was an instinct, you immediately punched him in the jaw with your free hand, causing him to drop on the ground, unconcious.
Hisoka was ever-so-slightly taken aback, he was about to kill the man but looks like you beat him to it, I mean you didn't kill him though but that was Hisoka's intent...oh well....
You did say you were going to beat up any rat you see didn't you?
"At least it wasn't one of those rats." You mutter as you wipe your hand on your sweater, before blurting out a quick sorry.
"That was quite the show you put on there (Y/n)." Hisoka commented with a smirk, you face him frantically, "I didn't mean to do it okay?? I thought it was a rat, well it looked like a rat, but it wasn't a rat!" You rambled out with a wide eyed frown, Hisoka chuckled at your behavior.
"Wait, what about the gun??" You blurted out, picking up the gun with your index and thumb then holding it out as far as you can, "I feel like I should keep it or something, ImeanlareadyhaveaboutfiveoftheseBenelliBlackEaglesbut--" You stopped and clamped your mouth, hoping that he couldn't make out those words.
Hisoka was still looking at you with the same amused smirk, you huffed and dropped it to the ground with a loud clack.
You let out a long, deep sigh, before grabbing his hand again. "Let's just forget this and go to the store..." You trailed off as you awkwardly trudged past the knocked out man.
Hisoka's eyes widened a little at this, glancing at his hand, which you were holding.
