Notice Me Luzrius 2

Who I am

I move. And I move quickly, taking fefuge on the tree branches.

My right leg hurts but I've gotten the wake up call I needed.

That is not the Luzrius I know. It's a demon who just want to destroy. And I....

After removing my dagger from my leg, I put it away. It's been a while since I used this technique but... here goes nothing.

Release!

Luzrius leapt towards me. Claws sharp and threatening.

But it was too late for that tactic. What ge got was a hot punch in the face. The impact launched him across the clearing

"It seems that you have forgotten but let me remind you"

I jumped down weilding me weapons to be his destruction.

"I am a Blacksmith!"

(This is a song that set the mood for me as I was writing this. I may delete this later)

But more than anything I'm his friend!

Luzrius looked at me with those same cold eyes. He charged but before he could get far

POW!

A hammer to the face. He fell back crying out in pain. Guess that stung a little. Blacksmiths don't carry weak hammers.

"I'm sorry but I can't let you kill me"

I know he would be terribly sad when he snapped back to himself and realized he killed his friend. I can't let that happen. There's still so much I need to do and say.

The power that surged through me is strong but it won't last forever. I gotta make this count.

We battled for a long time. My hammers were my shield as well to being my weapons. Several surrounding trees became victims to thier strength because Luzrius was fast enough to dodge them. 

I managed some hits and he landed hits on me. But they weren't too deep. Amber's potion can heal these smaller cuts so i focused on Luzrius. 

His method of attacks weren't too hard to predict but no matter how hard I punch him he isn't turning back to himself. This exchange of tug and give is getting us nowhere.

I think Luzrius had the same realization because after my punch he backed up.

I kept my guard up as we stared at each other for a moment.

Then Luzrius did something that I wasn't expecting. The cloak he wore parted a bit as the underside of him stirred.

"Wha- Ah!"

Something was launched at me! Apparently it was living because it turned and bit me as I dodged. Luzrius left my sight for a moment before turning up behind me. I quickly ripped out what's on my shoulder and threw it at him!

Now that I got chance to escape with distance I can see now what was launched at me was that demon who bit me in the beginning. Only in an extended form. The only difference is that it has a halo and it's body had exposed flesh hanging off it.

I had to admit how it looks a little gross.

The teeth demon retreated in Luzrius. To get launched again no doubt.

But what came out was red and I immediately recognized that demon. Luzrius showed it to me several times before. It took a shine to me but I must be prepared for an attack.

As expected the demon was launched and I dodged it completely. Right after that I swong my hammer at Luzrius who was right behind me as I expected. But that doesn't mean I forgot his little friend. I caught it as it tried to grab me. It squirmed in my hands.

It was kinda cute

"Wait... you're a little bigger than the last time I saw you"

Can Luzrius control it's size?

Speaking of Luzrius, he gave me a look that sent my spirit on edge. I took a step back

"Ow! Again?!"

The teeth demon is back. I have no idea when he summoned it but it had a tight grip on my ankles. I quickly swatted it with my hammer and pinned it down with my bigger ones.

However I made the mistake to turn my back to Luzrius and he took the opportunity. I felt his presence right behind me but it was too late.

Slaaaaaashhhhhhhhhhh!!!

My mind went blank for a moment. I saw flashes of all my interactions with Luzrius in that one moment. By the time I returned to my senses I was pinned and my shoulder was getting bitten off.

"L... Luzrius..."

I can not lose here!

"Sheen..."

It's the first time I ever called for the Phoenix flame but it answered my call instantly and I felt the power of the flames fill through me and created a firey vortex that surrounded to protect me. It didn't harm me but I'm sure Luzrius got a surprise this time.

I struggled to get up but the pain on my back just hit me and back down I went. But it was okay as long as Sheen kept covering me Luzrius didn't dare to come near.

After gathering some strength I again struggled to get up.

Clink

I look down to find my pendant on the ground. The string that held it was cut. It must've been when Luzrius hit my back.

The pendant is a very powerful item. It belonged to my teacher and I modified it. It can purify malice thoughts and calm souls

"That's it!"

I can use my pendant on Luzrius. I made preparations at that moment.

I knew that Luzrius has a strange fascination of angels. But I had to wonder how I looked like in his eyes when he saw me with wings of the inferno behind me when I finally left that vortex.
