Hiding 🥶

After I sent that message I turned off my phone and put it in my drawer I didn't plan on going onto it any time soon.

*Monday*
I spent my whole weekend eating and watching movies the only time I went out was to go to the gym, I didn't want to get out of shape because I worked hard to have the body I have and I wouldn't want to loose it because I'm moping. My dad walked into my room and said " Hey why did Jabez come over this weekend?" I think my dad likes him, I've never brought a boy home Jabez was the first and I think my dad likes him more than any of the friends I've ever brought over honestly.. I responded " I don't want to talk about him right now Dad" " Oh okay I get it, I hope you guys get threw whatever is going on bud I'm always here to talk... Now get ready for school you weirdo" he laughed after that and that made me laugh , I genuinely love my dad he's has been my best friend forever he was both a Mom and Dad figure to me ever since I was born, My birth giver had left after she gave birth to me I never met her nor seen what she looks like sadly. I stopped being so sad and started to get dressed

I didn't feel like dressing up today but I still wanted to look a little nice. As I walked out of my house I saw Jabez walking out of his I immediately hid behind my car I didn't really want to see him today I wasn't in the mood.

* At school*
I walked into first period a little early so I sat in the back corner not wanting to interact with anyone, As the bell was about to ring Jabez walks in and immediately looks at me and I just raise my book to hide my face hoping I did it in time, I peeked a little and saw Jabez walking towards me and right on time the teacher walked in and told everyone to take a seat Jabez did so and he was about 2 desks away from me. Class was almost over and I felt something hit my foot when I looked down it was a crumbled up piece of paper I looked up to Jabez and he just signaled for me to pick it up I did so when I picked it up I opened it up and it said

" y/n why didn't you answer my texts, are you avoiding me?"

I just crumbled it back up without responding and tossed it back to him he picked it up and before he could open it up the bell rang " Thank god" I told myself I quickly got my stuff together and left, I could just feel that Jabez was walking behind me " Y/N WAIT UP" I turned around and right when he asked "Are you okay" he held my hand in his and I just looked into his eyes something I haven't done in a while and it felt so amazing "Hey J" jAdE interrupted our soon to be conversation, I just softly pulled my head away and left when I looked back he wasn't even paying attention to her he was just look at me walk away... He didn't do anything he just stayed with Jade and that kinda hurt considering I was hoping he would at least try to call me back but no he didn't... It was now lunch and lucky me Jabez had the same lunch as me woohooo mind my sarcasm. He saw me walk in and when I saw him I turned around as quick as I could and ran to the girls bathroom I heard him knock on the entrance door of the bathroom " Y/n I saw you run in there come on please come out so we can talk" I just stayed quite " Fine then I'm coming in" I heard him open the bathroom door then I sat on the toilet and picked up my feet so he couldn't see what stall I was in except he already knew what stall I was in because I dropped my phone on the floor. He said " Look I don't know why you don't want to talk but please come out I don't want to loose our friendship" I started to tear a little because I don't think I can be his friend if I like him I can't just watch on the side while he has a girl with him hugging him, kissing him, being with him all the time all the time doing couple tingz

*Jabez P.O.V*

I don't even like Jade like that I was just caught up in the moment and when Jade and I kissed I could t stop think how it would feel to have Y/n's lips on mine. I feel horrible about the whole situation, I want to tell her how I feel I really do and I think I will maybe after school. She wasn't responding so I said " I'll leave you alone for now since you don't want to talk I'm sorry y/n"
