(Only if you haven't read any other werewolf books on this app and you don't know the werewolf ranks in Packs and other things you would need to know) Pack Ranks:
Alpha- Leader of the pack
Luna-Female leader of the pack
Beta- Second in Command
Gamma- Third in Command
Regular Wolves- they don't really have a part like Alphas, Lunas, Betas, and Gammas
Omegas- Lowest rank in the pack, some can be mistreated by the other members of the pack. They are also put in the games when the Ruby Moon rises.
Rogues- Lone wolves, can be good or bad
White Wolves- Rare wolves, they can be feared or worshipped. They get forced into the games by fear and envy, some say white wolves have powers.
Lycanthropes- They're more powerful than werewolves, most are ranked as Alphas, Lunas, and sometimes Royals.
Werewolves- They aren't as strong as Lycanthropes, but they basically the same.
The Mate Bond:
Mates are soulmates in werewolf terms. Werewolves mostly meet they're mates at young ages like eighteen mostly but can be much younger or older like 20s depending on what age the author wants they're Character (s) to meet they're mates.
When ever werewolves meet their mates they smell a delightful scent and most of the time they instantly fall in love with they're mate(s) because of the Bond they instantly have but they could also Reject they're mate(s) if they don't like them or something.
Being Reject can be the most terrible thing to happen to a werewolf, human, or other supernatural creature, all of them can feel the Bond grow or break and they can feel the pain that comes with being rejected. If mates aren't rejected then they can feel they're mate's feelings and can sometimes mind link (depending on book, some don't include the mind link).
The Mark:
Being marked by your mate or you marking your mate can be a wonderful experience for werewolves unless they are marked by force. When being marked they're bitten on they're collarbone or maybe the side of the neck, when they're done marking they're mate the bond instantly grows more stronger.
