4 Days Later sunday . . .
Today I was going home, but today I have to go to church. Ever since the surgery I had, I've been feeling a bit jumpy like a feeling, yeah a feeling like I can do anything. I feel like I can fly. I wish I could fly because then I could be like superman or supergirl. I wish, Oh I wish I could be someone like them and I could save the day.
Right when I walked out of the hospital I felt like I could fly. My mom was besides me holding my hand because I kept jumping up and down like I was preparing to fly or something. Then, suddenly out of nowhere I jumped so high that I lost grip of my mom's arms. I flew in one place. It's like gravity is not allowing you to stay on the ground. I think it's because of the surgery that I had and the wish that I made. I'm so happy. I tried to fly forwards, but you know how it is in the movies they don't always get it on the first try like me.
I did not fly straight on the first time I tried flying straight, but then I got the hang of it. I soon knew how to go up and down side to side. I soon realize that I'm not dreaming this is reality. I went back to see my mom staring at me. I tried to land for the first time and actually got it right on the 1st try. I landed slowly in front of my mom who was staring at me like I was crazy or something.
"Mom, do you trust me?" I held out my hand for her to hold onto. My mom stood still like she did not hear me, so I repeated it.
"Mom, do you trust me?" I still held out my hand expecting for her to grab onto it. She stared at me for about 10 seconds in astonishment until she nodded her head and reach for my hand until we were both touching. Then I slowly lifted her off her feet and into the air and she seemed rather light.
"Where do you want to go mom?" I questioned her.
"Home for now." She replied."Wow, this is so cool! I did not know you could actually be a super hero. If you want to keep this power, then you must train to learn how to actually learn to control it."
"Where do you expect us to train at mom?" I asked still flying in the direction of home.
"We are going to s.t.a.r Labs to look at your powers more, so we can be sure that you can still do what you normally do." She replied with a serious look on her face. "S.T.A.R. Labs is where all the super humans like you train to be one of the world's best hero."
"Where do I head to?" I asked.
"Over there in the tallest skyscraper, that is where you would find the most famous inventor, Doctor wells." She explained pointing to a tall skyscraper out in the city. I quickly turn a little bit and followed the direction my mom was pointing to. As we headed off tour the city in full speed I was curious to know how my mom knew about all this, so I asked,
"Mom, how do you know about all of this stuff and I thought you would make me into a science experiment or something, how come you're letting me be this instead of who I really am? Not saying that I don't want to be a super hero, I was just wondering."
"Well, you see you know the Flash right?" She asked as we were still on our way to the building.
"Yeah, Why?"
"Well, Berry is my brother and he was trained at S.T.A.R Labs too. He is still training this very day. That's probably why you can fly now. Berry had surgery and after surgery he ran almost faster than the speed of light. Also, watch this. You need to let go of me for me to show you."
"Wait,What?! NO!"
"Trust me, if I fall you can catch me, but that won't be necessary." She looked at me with a smile. "I trust you, why don't you trust me?"
"I do trust you! Ok, here we go!" I said with a regret thought. I let go of her as we were about to reach the building. When I let go of her she did not plummet down to the ground, she floated like I was. We both hovered in 1 place next to the building. We were both staring in each other's eyes.
"You see, anything can happen when you just put your mind to it." She explained as we laughed. We started tours the building again. When we've finally reached the tarise we hopped onto it and knocked on the glass door. We waited 2 minutes until someone with short brown hair opened the door. The guy said,
"Come on in samantha, What brings you here? And who might this be?"
"Well, this is your niece, Hope and she has our hero gene. Show him Hope, just don't go too high up." She demanded as I nodded in agreement. I slowly lifted off the ground and hovered in place not too high off the ground. My mom and the short hair dude watched me as I hovered off the ground.
"Wow that is,so cool! Hi Hope, i'm The Flash, I go by Berry and i'm your uncle! This is going to be so fun training with you and fighting villains with you! This will be great! Sisco and Dr.Wells will be here soon. Just got to say, I wish I could go up, up, and away."
