Kobi strolled into the music room as if he owned the place, he gave mr. Jacobsen a smirk as he yanked the keys out of his hands to get us into the band room.

"I am a god kneel to me!" He screeched playfully whilst picking up a guitar, I just smiled back at him punching his stomach.

"So what do you play?" Kobi asked me, whilst effortlessly strumming something on his guitar.

"Oh I don't play"

"So you're a singer then, that's good I need you on this song"

Kobi thrust me a piece of paper with the lyrics to 'too close Alex Clare' written on them, I didn't consider myself a musician and pestered Kobi to sing himself but he insisted that I sung.

"Some tone deaf shizingle is about to go down" I sarcastically said as Kobi handed me the microphone laughing.

"Oh shh you'll be fine" Kobi blurted back at me as he started to strum the song. Okay I thought, don't mess up just sing, just sing. It's not hard just sing Annabel.

Two minuets later the song was finally finished and I lowered my head shamefully, 'should I just leave now and save myself the embarrassment?' I thought but then,

"BAM FINISHED" Kobi announced triumphantly, "I have to say, man you can sing Annabel! damn" putting on a sassy accent.

"why thank-you good sir" I said poshly not expecting that reaction.

The bell suddenly went, this wasn't a normal time, it was still twenty minuets until lunch ended. Kobi and I passed confused looks to each other before mr Jacobsen strutted in.

"Hey kids, there's been a dangerous gas leak in the science lab. Goddam year sevens, you know, miss Foramén always warns them to never twist the taps to far and they just had to go and twist the goddam taps, where is the respect nowadays? All the facilities wasted! wasted by some immat-"

"Sir... are you okay" I asked as I saw mr Jacobsen was practically on the verge of homicide.

"you can go home now" Mr Jacobsen said this both flustered and annoyed before gesturing us to leave.

"well... That was nice, thanks Kobi" I said and kissed him on the cheek as I left music.

"Hey you can't just!" Kobi said confused in the distance, I had gotten quite far away considering the gates aren't far from music however, this didn't stop Kobi from running after me through the hallway.

"Hey again, surprise seeing you here" I said ironically as Kobi stood by me panting like an obese kid who's just run the London marathon.

"sh-ut u-p and k-is-s m-e" Kobi said (well after deep breaths and stretches).

"Or wha-".

I didn't have time to finish before he smashed his lips into mine, it was so perfect. Despite being in a stinky gas smelling school hallway everything imperfect seemed to disappear in that one moment. Just us, only us. As if nothing else mattered apart from us... Seconds later he pulled away, leaving me hopelessly breathless.

"Well, that was nice. Thankyou Annabel" Kobi sarcastically mimicked me, cupping my cheek.

"You're such a loser Kobi" I said scrunching my nose up,

"Yes, but I'm your loser Annabel, and that itself is a prize I feel much obliged to have".
