"Hey, your name's Germaine right?"

"Yep, may iba pa 'bang nag pakilala bilang Germaine?" Natawa ako ng pabahagya. Luh, ang taray ko naman sa part na yun.

"Ah, haha, oo, tama, ikaw lang ang Germaine dito." Sinabi 'nya nang hindi makatingin sa'kin ng deretso.
Damn, he's awkward.

"So uhm, pwede ba 'ko sumabay sayo pag kain?" Aaah, galawan nito eh 'noh? You ain't slick boi.

"Go ahead." Bumalik ang tingin ko sa kinakain ko.

I'm sorry for neglecting you sandwich, it wasn't worth it.

"Umm.." Panimula ni kuyang unidentified.

A conversation..wonderful -.- Ano ba'ng pangalan ng lalaking 'to?

"What brings you to Golden Woods?" He asked, still not looking at me.

"Well you see..uh" Tumingin ako sa kanya. I still don't know his name.

Anong pangalan mo hoy!

"I'm Mark by the way, Mark Thompson." Pagpapakilala nito at sa wakas ay tumingin na din sa'kin. Wow, may pangalan naman pala.

"Hello Mark, what were you asking again?" Pagpapatuloy ko. Malaking tulong talaga 'tong memory ko. Hays.

"What brings you to Golden Woods?"

Golden Woods Academy. Ganda ng pangalan 'noh? Don't be deceived. Hindi sya bonggang paaralan na para sa mayayaman lang. Sadyang maarte lang talaga ang founder.

"Malapit lang kasi sa'min". I said, trying to give as less information as possible.

"Ahh. Do you live in the villa?" Woah, nosy much?

There's a bunch of villas near the school. Pero nasa may pinakang dulo kami, para mabilis kong matandaan, and wala nang available sa unahan.

"Saang banda kayo?" Chill with the questions. Talo mo pa si Abunda eh.

He must've noticed my annoyance.

"Uy, sorry kung ang kulit ko, na-excite lang talaga ako. I just wanted to be friends, really." He apologized.

Ay sus, friends. Someone give this guy an award, Mr. Congeniality everyone!

"No, it's fine. Yeah, we live in the villa." I tried to plaster a smile on my face. It must have been really convicing because he bought it.

"Cool. Maybe we should go home together then." He suggested.

Edi nilibing ako ng buhay ni Mama. May makita nga lang na lalaking kausap ko, halos umuusok na sa galit, umuwi pa kayang may kasama.

"Thanks for the offer, but I can't. Excuse me ah, pupunta lang ako sa canteen." I stood up and headed for the door. I tried to end our coversation.. but Mr. Congeniality falters not.

"Samahan na kita!" Ikaw ah! Pogi ka pero di kita ito-tolerate, kulit-kulit nito -.-

"Ay hindi n-" I haven't finished my sentence when he grabbed my shoulder and cut me off.
