WAVES - DEAN LEWIS//RUNNING FOR CENTURIES

ZEROS POV

"see." The tone of Five's raspy voice felt like a sneer to the chest, in which only left me to wonder.

He only egged father on from where I sat, leaving everyone else to go about dinner as if nothing was happening. Vanya and I only took silent glances to where Five stood. Yet father didn't care once again.

"A spatial jump is trivia when compared with the unknowns of time travel." I couldn't help but to beam against fathers words, under my own understanding I knew that Fives out of us all wasn't the only one who could time travel in which leaving Vanya to imply that I myself could too.

The velocity of my abilities run by what she found to be the speed force to which is a place where I'd supposedly gotten my speed powers. Or per-say had been gifted my speedy abilities.

It's a dimension in which consists all the time in the world 'apparently' and by tapping into the speed force one can access time in past or can see the future. ...

Vanya had come upon a conclusion to if I used a cosmic trademil to time travel I'd be able to do what I pleased with this gift, yet she herself knew that father wouldn't allow me to time travel if Fives couldn't.

And to what he'd just stated I don't think my mind could comprehend the idea of what the future had in store for me.

"One Is like sliding along the ice, the other is akin to descending blindly into the depths of the freezing water and reappearing as an acorn."

Father had sharply replied, sipping at his wine glass before settling it down in such a graceful manner, this left me to watch as I refused to eat anything at this point.

"Well, I don't get it." So quickly did my mind tick at the fact that father was right, if Fives took it upon himself to time travel who knows what he could do in another universe/dimension set time.

He could die, he could be someone we'd barely know. For all he knows he could disappear without a trace and to have never been seen by any of us and or found again. That hurt to think that if I'd left to time travel, maybe I'd never return to my family. Ever.

"Hence the reason you're not ready." In a swifted manner my eyes gazed over at where Vanya was set, in eyes range she'd shook her head at me trying her best to reason that I and or Fives were going to do something stupid.

And she was right.

"I'm not afraid." Fives harsh manner only sent me to stiffen at the uncomfortable feeling that twitched within my mind as if I'd been hit with a hockey puck.

'Ow'

"Fear isn't the issue, the effects it might have on your body even on your mind are far too unpredictable."

I'd flinched when father's voice had deepened only leaving me to have thought that indeed Fives was going to do something very stupid and unforgiving.

"Now, I forbid you to talk about this anymore."

It seemed that Fives only got the hint that their father thought he wasn't good enough to time travel. Yet in reality Fives couldn't see the full picture, he only wanted to see what his mind blocked out.

The table had fell silent, but that had soon been replaced with Five moving from his position next to our father and off to exit the house, my heart dropped.

He was going to do something stupid.

"Number Five! You haven't been excused! Come back here!"

I took this as my cue to stand from my own seat.

"Zero sit down!" My body couldn't help but to ignore Bens pleads. Out of us all I knew about Fives temper and how much he'd take it upon himself to get what he wanted.

"Number Zero sit down."

Yet at this point I couldn't, I didn't want too.

"You were right dad." My voice fell flat and monotoned like a snake striking at its prey. My eyes narrowed at seat our father had been settled in.

"I never know how to give up on family, Hence being the reason I love too much." The rigged reply made me shove the white blanket from my shoulders to the wooden chair.

My body strolled out of the academy to where I'd spotted Fives storming off and onto the footpath itself.

"Fives come back!"

He didn't listen.

||THIRD PERSON||

Five felt hurt, annoyed and most of all frustrated out of his bloody mind. He wanted nothing more then to do what he pleased when he pleased. He wanted control of his own abilities, was that too much to have asked?

Apparently so...

'Fives come back'

The sound of her voice only sent the 17 year old to storm further down the street, so quickly did he have the perfect idea.

In such quick and smooth actions Zero couldn't help but to sense what he'd been thinking about over the previous argument that had happened, her mind itself only thought of this moment in being the 'stupid decision' she and Vanya could mildly sense from the academy.

Shifting her body into a running position, It only took Zero a few seconds to have see Fives arch his back. Her mind flickered at the blue spatial orbit that began to form around him like a cloud.

She'd took the moment upon herself as an opportunity to use her speed ability, so quickly did she force herself to rush over in the direction of Fives.

When she'd grasped her hands firmly onto his shoulders, she only sensed that she couldn't be anymore but right. Yet there was one thing she didn't know about Fives 'stupid decision'

Was that she was a part of it all...
