ZEROS POV
So gentle did I move out to exit the ice-box, I was left in their alongside Fives comforter wrapped around my shoulders like a cape attached to my neck. I remembered how I'd wake up as a kid to soft laughter from my family, well from my siblings to be exact.
But now I could only hear harsh arguing and rough shuffles against the wooden floorboards above me.
"Dad said if she came back to us to have her wear this until she's capable of controlling her powers, Luther she's our sister."
It was Allison, my bare feet only stopped in their tracks, so frightened to make way up there to each of them. Being In another time only felt as if I didn't belong with these older versions of my family.
"As soon as she wakes up I'll be sure to give it to her. But for the mean time what about Five huh? He still needs to tell her after so long about you-know." Luther only grumbled the last part slightly trying to bring his voice down.
"He'll tell her, give the guy a break he time travelled how long into the future and came back. He'll tell her, well I hope her does." My breath slowed at Allison's sentence, she paused at the end of it as if she herself weren't sure about what five needed to tell me.
What the hell is Five hiding from me?
Wait a second.
Dad made me a suit to withdraw and put my powers under control?
The thought sent me to smile, I wasn't much of the father liking person. But he was my dad after all. Well he was the closest thing I could have to a dad, Reginald wasn't the best sort of father but I mean who is right?
Sucking up the courage I thought I'd never had pushed myself to make way up that stone staircase, to the lot grazing swiftly pass the two individuals not wanting to have cause a scene made it 2x as easy since my ability was speed, I slipped behind Luther, barely managing to have sink myself into the hallway into direction aim for the open venue of the house.
But as soon as I'd turned to sprint off up to my bedroom my body had to have collide with another.
"Oh, shit." The cuss left my lips like any other time I'd gotten in trouble.
Raising myself to have flinched I could only seek to have moved sharply back frightened to come face to face with an angry Five, I'd had enough time to have myself become used to seeing everyone older then the both of us then to have him young like myself it only reminded me that I'm definitely not dreaming.
Squinting my eyes shut, I braced myself to have Five all up in my business like I was the last person he wanted to have gone. He frightened me all together with the not leaving me alone thing.
That wasn't MY Fives.. The one I grew up with never came to have check upon me..This one took the form of the one I protected.
It was my job to protect him not the other way around. When we grew up I was the one doing the heavy work whilst he would walk off pissed with my decisions all together. I wanted to be careless again. I know I said to have 'never to leave my side' but having said that I'd felt as if regret could only settle in at this point.
Realising that I wanted him to be his normal old self. The harsh, yet secret, kind of caring person. Not to what I see now he seemed to be the more physical, touchy feeling person. My breathing hitched when I'd peaked my eyes open to have see Five yet I was taken back by the view of Vanya.
"Oh, god I thought you we-"
"Five." Vanya chuckled at my comment, awkwardly wrapping her arms around herself before giving me an upbeat smile.
