Slight trigger warning

"I mean, that is probably the smartest idea to go with if we want to make some profit," Mark agreed as he and Ethan, Tyler's father continued to have their own conversation about their work.

"And what matters the most to us, Tyler?" Ethan questioned looking over at his son, who glanced away from Louis and Harry to look at his father.

"Profit, of course, father," Tyler answered. Ethan gave him a clap on the back to show a sign of approval before turning back to his conversation with Mark.  It was strange to see how Tyler's family was, it was now easy to see why Tyler was the way he was.

It had only been a few minutes and it was already very awkward since Tyler and his family had chosen to join them for lunch. It wasn't so much for the adults but for the teens, it felt like they had been there for hours, due to Tyler just glaring like crazy at the pair.

"Thank you so much again for inviting us to join you," Melanie stated as she gave Jay a thankful smile.

"Louis and Tyler have been friends for a while and you have always been lovely to us," Jay replied before her eyes settled on Louis and Harry, "Have you met my son in law?"

"Mum..." Louis warned keeping his eyes on Tyler to watch his reaction.

"We will call him what he really is, Lou," Jay teased playfully, "This is Harry."

"Nice to meet you, Harry. I hope you're treating Louis very well," Melanie said giving Harry a welcoming smile.

"Of course, his happiness means a lot to me," Harry informed making sure to make eye contact with Tyler. The curly haired boy watched as Tyler's jaw tensed. Jay and Melanie cooed at Harry's sweet answer.

"Tyler hadn't told me that you were seeing someone. Do you see them around much, sweetheart?" Melanie asked. Tyler raised his eyebrows.

"Around school? Kind of hard to miss them," Tyler responded, there was a hint of harshness in his tone which even caused Jay to send the jock a puzzled look. Thankfully, the two women began their own discussion.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Louis hissed lowly, trying his hardest to not bring any attention on themselves.

"What do I think I'm doing? More like, what do you think you're doing? I haven't heard from you all day and then I rock up here to find you with this fuckwit," Tyler snapped darkly.

"Don't call him that. His name is Harry, use it," Louis shot back.

"Why does it even matter?" Tyler questioned, "Stop being a bitch, Louis."

"With cute nicknames like that, I'm shocked he hasn't introduced you as his boyfriend already," Harry planted a fake smile on his lips. Tyler scoffed, all three boys still maintaining the same low tone so that they don't attract any of the parents to their conversation.

"It's adorable that you might think you belong here, Harry, but at the end of the day, remember that what you have isn't real," Tyler reminded coldly.

"Then it's quite sad that even though what we have isn't real, I still treat him a hell lot better than you do," Harry retorted. Louis snorted loudly which caused the parents to look over in their direction.
