I am walking down the road, my feet crunching on cobble as i skipped happily with my earphones stuck into my ears, totally unaware of anything. What happened next, i did not know how i even managed to catch attention of a young girl who let go of her mother's hand and dashed straight onto the road. I had no idea why i would even bother dash after her, guess i was just too nice huh? I grabbed her hand and towed her back, we landed on the concrete hard. The car we had barely missed tore past in a ferocious roar, leaving tire tracks- the only evidence of what happened. The girl was sobbing incredibly loudly, tears streaming down her cheeks as she ran into the agitated hug of her mother- who looked at me with a smile full of gratitude.

"Thank you." she whispered through and through, whilst fluffling up her daughter's hair.

I smiled and tried to reply. But i couldn't.  No sound came out of my lips. I watched in silent horror as the girl and mother melted into sand.

What the!!!

The world dissolved into shadows and i was left alone, as if waiting for judgment. And judgment did come, for i heard a voice which made me shiver in fear.

"You should not be alive" the voice taunted softly.

"W-Who are you? Show yourself!" i demanded.

The voice merely chuckled and i made goosebumps appear on my arms. I rubbed them and waited.

"You should've died." it continued to say.

"Shuttup! Show youorself coward!" i say defiantly.

The voice begins to laugh and laugh it did. Maniacal laughter surrounded me as a figure materialized in front of me. A huge black cloak covered its face and drifted to its feet. It wore a necklace of...bones?! In its bony white hands was an enormous scythe emitting an aura so dark, i crumpled to the floor.

"Who are you?" i whispered.

"I am Death. And you, Asila, should not have been allowed to live." Death told me, whilst floating nearer to me.

I felt as if my blood was being sucked out, for i felt bone tired and pale. Yet, somehow i still managed to gather the courage to say "What...did i....ever do....wrong?"

"True to the fact that you did nothing wrong, but, your entire existence is a wrong-doing itself. Thus, you shall not live for a moment longer." after that, Death raised its scythe and simply swiped my head off clean.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i screamed myself awake, only to find me dripping cold sweat from the unwanted nightmare.

Skylar is awake beside me, staring worriedly.

"You alright?" he asks gently.

"Yea..." i say as i smooth my tangled hair, "i think."

"NIghtmare?"

"Sort of." i reply.

"Wanna tell me about it?" Skylar asks once more.

"Basically, it was more like a flashback of some sort."

"Flashback? Of what?"

"My death."

"Did you see anyone?"

"Shinigami came to visit me."

"Death came to visit you?!?! Asila, do you know how important that is? Death never visits anybody, unless they are a potential threat to the worlds. Are you sure?"

"That is how i died." i reply bluntly, stunning Skylar in the progress.

"Death, huh...."

"Do you think it is real?"

"Maybe, i dunno. Thing is Asila, why would Death want to personally come and reap you?

"That, i can answer for you." a voice came behind us and when i turned around, i felt my blood run cold.
