"Asila...." i heard Skylar's voice call to me as i awoke from my slumber.
"What?" i say as i stifle a huge yawn, i was so tired, it was just not funny.
"Lucifer's kinda half-dead so what do you wish to do with him now?" he asked as he perched on the branch next to mine.
I thought about it for a moment, making him my torture toy would be such a waste, and making Skylar punish him again would be too boring. Hmmmmm.
"I know! He can be our friend!" i exclaim.
Surprise flitted across his face. "Friend???"
"Ya, he can be our friend and if he doesn't accept, he will really die." with that i jump from the tree and managed to find a badly beaten Lucifer leaning on the trunk, i kicked him in the stomach (a perfect formula to get badly beaten people to wake) and crouched down low.
Lucifer painfully opened his eyes and squinted.
"What....?" was all he could manage.
"Listen to me you damned lowlife of Death. I want you to be our friend. Yup, thats right, be our friend or you will suffer for the rest of your short life."
"So, in other words, if i dont accept, i will...die?" he squeaked.
I merely nod.
"Well, i am a servant of Death so i cant technically-"
"Die, right? Well this is the queen of torture you're talking to and when she is mad she will send you straight to the deeppest pits of Hell and make you rot there, you still wanna try me, punk?"
*Gulp* "I think i'll go with the first option." Lucifer said weakly.
"Good, now ya learnin." i say as i stuck out my hand and offered to get him up.
"Thanks..?" he say as he struggled to get up.
"No probs, you're a friend now."
"So, um, what do we do now?" he asked.
"Skylar! Get your butt down here!" i shout as he hopped down from his branch and landed perfectly next to me.
"Now, we need to find Death- kick his sorry exsistence out of da world and somehow manage to get out of this hellhole." i summed up.
"Hear, hear!" Skylar called. How much i liked him.
"But- but, im gonna be screwed!!!!" Lucifer whined.
"Suck it up lady, you're one of us now!"
"......................................................................................................"
"Yup, i totally like the new guy. Well, lets go get us some supplies then we'll get going!" i say as i skipped along the road towards the forest.
Lucifer- being left behind -slowly trudged up and lagged behind us.
