Me and velvet have been preparing for the welcoming as many students have been coming to beacon we are now moving the grimm into the auditorium making sure they are safe as the event officially starts in an hour the rest of team cfvy has been helping us keep the grimm safe the last grimm we need to bring are the goliaths and they drew some unneeded attention when a familiar monkey fauness walks up to me "hey why are you walking grimm through the courtyard" he asks "well im taking them to the auditorium" i explain "why" he asks "well we are letting people get up close to the grimm while also allowing them to be safe" i explain "oh that's cool" he says "your strangely calm about this whole situation" i say "well i figure its better to just accept things as they come instead of asking a bunch of questions" he says "oh is that how you ended up on that dock with blake" i ask "how did you know about that" he asks "oh well i was there" i say "wait if you were watching why didn't you help us" he asks "well i wasn't that good at fighting at the time and roman is my friend" i explain "your friends with that guy" he says "yeah don't worry though he and blake are cool now" i say "oh ok then" he says "well were here so you should go back to your team" i say walking to the auditorium door letting the goliaths in we then wait for the helpers to show up

Once the helpers get here i tell them not to let people in with weapons and then we open up allowing people to come in most people react with fear seeing all the grimm but then calm down after awhile seeing how calm they are its rather boring until ironwood walks in with two of his robots i run up to him and stop him "you can't bring those in here" i say to him "why not" he asks "they frighten the grimm and when there scared they fight" i explain "oh my apologies" he says before waving the robots off "thank you for that and is winter here" i say "yes she is setting things up and will come down here shortly" he says "great now the grimm here are very nice if you want to know anything about them ask velvet she knows them better than anyone" i say pointing to velvet "understood" he says walking off i then go to velvet "hey hows it going" i ask her "its going great everyone seems to be having a good time" she says "well that's great ironwood showed up so he might come ask you some questions about the grimm" i say to her "what general ironwood is going to ask me questions" she says seeming nervous "hey don't worry you're great there is nothing to be worried about" i say "thank you" she says hugging me i then see winter walk in "oh winters here im gonna go say hi" i say "have fun" she says as i walk to winter "hello winter how are you" i say "im doing fine how about yourself" she says "i couldn't be better" i say "well that's good to hear may i ask who that girl you were talking to earlier is you seem rather close" she says "oh that's velvet she's my girlfriend" i say "oh well good for you" winter says "im guessing you haven't heard about weiss" i say "no what happened with weiss" she asked "she and ruby got together finally" i say "oh who confessed to who" she asks "actually one of her teammates accidentally let it slip that ruby has a thing for weiss and it just happened to work out" i explain "well that's not really what i was expecting but it still works" winter says "yeah you should go make fun of her for it" i say making winter smile "you know what i think i will" she says before walking off i walk around for a bit talking to people until velvet comes to me "hey crim this drunk guy is annoying people and won't leave" velvet says i then look over to see qrow drunker than usual stumbling around rambling to himself "qrow why are you so drunk" i ask him "cause its a party" he mumbles out "hey ruby sorry to bother you but qrow is really drunk and is annoying people" i say to ruby and a couple of minutes later ruby walks in and drags qrow out of the room "well he was fun" velvet says sarcastically "its hard to believe him and raven are siblings" i say "who's raven" velvet asks "she is the woman i got my last name from" i explain "she's his sister" velvet asks "yep but she's more fun and she's really nice" i say "i would love to meet her some day she sounds wonderful" velvet says "you can meet her right now if you want" i say "how is she here" velvet asks "no but she can be" i say hey raven can you come here i have someone who wants to meet you" i say and almost a second later a portal opens "hello crimson who was it that wanted to meet me" she asks i then walk over to velvet "this is velvet my girlfriend" i say and her face lights up "hello my name is raven nice to meet you" raven says "im velvet" velvet says shyly "aw she's so cute" raven says looking her up and down "thank you" velvet says "now if only yang got someone" raven says "what do you mean she does have someone" i say "wait really who" raven asks "remember neo from the party" i say "yeah the quiet one seemed to have a good head on her shoulders" raven says "yeah that's her" i say raven lights up even more "aww both my girls are all grown up" raven says practically hopping from excitement "well you should probably go say hi to yang while you're here" i say "yeah you're right" raven says before making another portal and walking through it "see i told you she was nice" i say turning to velvet "yeah i guess you were right" she says
