Jaehyun's POV
"Hey Tae, this weekend I have to go on a school fieldtrip for my Choir class and Sicheng has to go see his family so you and Yuta will have the house to yourself for two days. Is that ok?" I explained to Taeyong while we were on our way back to the house from grocery shopping. He looked over at me.
"When will you be back?" he asked.
"Well I leave tomorrow morning and I come back sometime around Sunday evening. We're not completely sure what time we'll be back."
"Alright. Yeah we'll be fine. Do you want me to help you pack?" I pulled into my garage and turned my car off, popping open the trunk and grabbing some bags. Taeyong followed, walking right behind me into the house. We set the bags on the counter and I started putting everything away.
"I think I'll be ok. I just have to pack a small suitcase with clothes for two days and I have to bring my suit for our concerts," I answered.
"Here, I"ll go pack that while you make dinner, ok?" he said, kissing me on the cheek.
"Sounds like a plan," I replied, smiling. "I love you."
Taeyong stopped halfway up the stairs and looked back at me. "I love you too Jae."
He started back up the stairs as I pulled out a pan to start spaghetti and sausage. I plugged my phone into the charger and hooked it up to the bluetooth speaker, turning on my favorite playlist and letting my music flow through the house. I could hear Tae rapping from upstairs, putting an even bigger smile on my face.
Taeyong's POV
I woke up the next morning to Jaehyun already being gone. When I sat up and stretched, I noticed a note sitting on the nightstand. I reached over and picked it up, unfolding it and reading it.
Tae-
Sorry I had to leave so quickly. I don't know when you'll read this but when you do just know I made you breakfast and it's in the microwave. Hope you enjoy! Yuta is already awake and I let him know everything so he's up-to-date. See you when I get home babe!
💙
I smiled and set the note down, getting out of bed and going downstairs to get my food. I found Yuta in the livingroom and sat down with him. He smiled at me as I walked in, going back to focusing in his laptop. Curiosity got the best of me.
"Whatcha workin on?" I asked him. He sighed and set him laptop aside, laying his head back on the couch.
"Trying to write an English essay that's due Monday, but I don't even know where to start. I freaking hate essays." he explained. I giggled and took a bite of the breakfast burrito Jaehyun made me.
"Me too. What's the point of them?" I replied. That got Yuta to laugh a little. "So have you eaten yet?"
"Yeah I had some eggs about an hour ago. What do you wanna do today?"
We ended up going to the mall and walked around, buying a few things at the stores we liked and eating lunch at the food court. Around 4 o'clock we headed home to work on whatever homework we had and ate dinner. By 10 Yuta went to bed. I stayed up and continued to work on my math assignment, wanting to finish it before I went to bed.
Now it was around 12:30 and I was just laying down in bed when my phone started vibrating. I groaned, exhausted, rolling over to grab it.
"Hello?" I answered.
