Chapter twenty-one: Hang out!

It has been a couple weeks and Funneh, Gold, Rainbow, and Draco are pumped up and ready for the talent show because they have been practicing the past few weeks. It's a Friday afternoon and the krew, along with Kyran and Alec, want to hang out as a group at some place to kill some time.

Funneh's P.O.V

I was so bored and exhausted from a long week of school and I wanted to relax for a bit. Gold now returned to her dorm and Draco now is with me. I decided to tell the krew, along with Alec and Kyran to meet up somewhere to try to kill some time. And plus, we will all get a chance to talk to one another. Hmm, but where should we meet up? I asked Draco, but he didn't know a place until I snapped my fingers and started texting the krew with Alec and Kyran in a separate chat that I've made.

(R=Rainbow, G=Gold, F=Funneh, L=Lunar, D=Draco, K=Kyran, A=Alec)

F: Hey guys! Wanna hang out someplace later?

L: like where?

F: Its a surprise, I'll send you the direction once I'll get there.

G: Sure, why not? I love surprises!

K: Can't wait!

F: K. See you all at the cafe!

K: What

F: What

Rainbow and Alec haven't responded yet so I thought that they were already busy. "What place are we going?" Draco asked from across the room. "You'll see," I said to him as I waited for a response from Rainbow or Alec. I decided to text them privately so that they will probably answer faster. I first texted Rainbow, no response. Then Alec, no response. What could they be doing that they aren't paying any attention to their screen? Then, as if my question was answered, Rainbow responded and just said, "Ok". Well at least she responded. I sighed as I waited for a response and I just told him this:

(F=Funneh, A=Alec)

F: Hey, would you like to go some place to hang with da krew?

Couple minutes later

F: I'll just meet you there. I'll send the directions to you. Please respond.

I sighed as I put my phone in my back pocket of my jeans. "Let's just go Draco, I'll wait for a response when we get there," I said as he nodded and we went to the door and drove in my car. While I was driving, Draco was playing Fortnite on him phone. "Bam! Bam! Bam!" I heard Draco right next to me say. I chuckled as I was still paying attention to the road. It just took around 5 minutes to get there. As I was parking the car, Draco asked, "Why are we at the mall? I don't wanna go shopping!" "Chill dude. The place is in the mall. And it's not a store," I said as we walked inside. We went to the second floor and walked for a bit until we got there. Man, I forgot how huge this place was. We stopped in front of our destination and I pulled out my phone to send the directions to the Krew, Alec, and Kyran without telling the name of the place. " 'Itchigo Bakery and Cafe' ?" Draco read from the title. "Yep. One of our friends work here actually. Her name is Meghan. She's-" then I said in a forced manner "-really nice. You'll see," I told him.

~Time skipping to 10 minutes later~

We were both leaning on the side of the bakery wall until they finally showed. I looked around them to see if I could find Alec, but he didn't show. I sighed as the krew and Kyran came up to us and looked questioned, except for Rainbow, who looked a bit nauseous. "Hey Funneh. So, what is this place?" Lunar asked. Then Draco pointed up to the title of the bakery and Lunar just said, "Oh." "Anyways, let's just go in!" I said and they all nodded and I made a hand signal for them to follow me. We were almost about to walk in until a hand grabbed me and pulled me back. I looked behind me and it was Kyran, who whispered to me, "Meghan..." I pretended to be surprised and said back to him sarcastically, "Oh no! I totally forgot she worked here!" Then Kyran made a face at me and we continued to walk in. We looked around the place and the krew were in awe, as if they never saw a bakery. I also looked around and saw Meghan cleaning some tables. She noticed us and leaped up to run to us and said in her high voice, "Hello! Welcome to Meghan's Itchigo bakery and cafe! Come sit!" Then she dragged us all to a table hurriedly and we sat down. Kyran, Gold, and Lunar, in that order, sat infront of us and Draco, Rainbow, and me (leaving some space for Alec), in that order, sat on the other side of the table. Once she sat us down, she stopped, then smiled at Kyran dreamily. "I see you also brought this handsome hunk with you," she said to him while giggling. Kyran was just sinking in his seat and I noticed Gold was looking a bit annoyed. "Yeah, so Meghan, meet my siblings. This is Rainbow, That's Lunar, and the other one is Draco," I said while pointing to each of them. "Nice to meet all of you. Your friends are my friends!" She smiled and continued, "Anyways, what can I get for the rest of you?" Meghan asked while passing out menus. And before we could say anything, she said, "How about some Chicken Zosui? It's the best on the menu! I'll make some for each of you!" Then she snatched all our menus and started doing ballet to the kitchen. Man that girl is crazy. Then Kyran sighed and Lunar said sarcastically, "Great service." I looked around for a couple minutes to see if Alec was coming, but no show. "Whatcha looking for Funneh?" Rainbow said nauseously. I turned to Rainbow and ignored what she said and said worried, "You ok Rainbow? You don't sound very good," then Rainbow just nodded. I hope she doesn't get sick. Meghan came back doing ballet with a bunch of Chicken Zosui on her hands, arms, and one huge plate on her head. Once she got to us, she did a pirouette and placed the food infront of us in a graceful manner. Everyone but Kyran got a plate. "Don't worry my sweets, I didn't forget about you!" Meghan said while twirling to him and gave him the huge plate on her head with some Chicken Zosui, vegetables, noodles, and a piece of cake on the side. "Enjoy!" She said to everyone and looked at Kyran and blowed a kiss to him, then skipped away. Kyran face was red from embarrassment then Draco asked him, "Is she always like this?" Without a doubt, he answered, "Always." Draco shrugged and started eating his Chicken Zosui and everyone followed. Kyran looked at his plate and I said, "Wow Kyran, Meghan must like you alot if she gave you all of that. What do you think Gold?" I then asked Gold with a smirk.

Gold's P.O.V

I knew what Funneh was trying to do, but I took the bait anyways. I would have said, 'What do I think? Hmm, Oh right! I think that little Miss Chicken Zosui should give poor Kyran a break from her Chicken-Torture!' Of course I didn't say that out loud, so I answered, "S-sure." I made it quick and simple, but still kept that thought in my head. I looked at Kyran, who's face was a bit red, but looked jealous at the same time. Funneh just shrugged and started eating her food along with the rest of us.

Funneh's P.O.V

I was the first one to finish the food and I was on my phone while the rest were eating. "Woah. Finished already?" Lunar asked. I looked up at my phone and nodded at her then looked around to see if Alec would show up. How come he hasn't came yet? I sighed and was about to give up hope if he didn't show in the next 10 minutes. We all finished our food a couple minutes after and Meghan came and picked up our plates and came back and sat in the spot I was saving for Alec. We all chatted and hanged out for awhile, except for me, who was quiet for most of the time. All they just talked about was school, grades, life, and some random stuff Draco brought up. I looked at the time on my phone and it was 9:39, so we all thanked Meghan and said goodbye to her. "Goodbye Friends!" Meghan said as we all were exiting the cafe with me following way behind. "Wait guys!" I said trying to catch up to them, but then someone ran and accidentally bumped into me. I was caught in some arms and looked up and saw Alec with a worried expression. "Funneh!" He said. He lifted me up and I looked down with a hand on my arm. "I was really hoping you would come, Alec," I said slowly. "Sorry, it's because-" he tried saying but I stopped him by putting my hand out. "Save it for later, like probably after the concert," I said trying not to sound mad. "Just please let me explai-!" I sighed and walked away with my hands on my arms without noticing that Draco had waited for me. "Funneh..." Alec said finally. I stopped. "There's nothing to explain. See you later Alec." I continued walking away with Draco following me, regretting what I did.

(Phew! I know, I know, it's been a WHOLE month since I last uploaded. April sure was a busy month for me! I apologize if I made you all wait so long, but at least I made this chapter!
