That Should Be Me

Chapter 3

Gracie POV

I turned around and my heart dropped. Jack J and Aaron where standing in front. I just stood there with my mouth open. So was Hanna

"Um your Gracie right?" Jack said

"y-y-yes yeah!" i said shaking

"Good! Um well..." Jack said looking to the ground and he put his hand on his head.

"Okay let me explain. So, we where told if we meet 2 girls that really stood out to us and that had potential to be in magcon to remember them." Aaron starting saying. All these words starting going straight through me. Was Jack and Aaron asking me to join Magcon?

"So Jack here told everyone about you. Luckily we found you. Also do you know a Hanna?"

"Uh uuhh Ya! Like right here" I said pointing to Hanna as she stood there in shock.

"Oh hi! Matthew told us about you!" Aaron said.

Hanna and I just stood there with our mouths open. I felt like I was dreaming. Could they seriously be asking us to join Magcon. Eventually they both starting busting out laughing. So they are probably joking.

"Are you okay?" Jack said grabbing my hand and using his other to wave in front of my face.

"Yes! Im fine, im just in a lot of shock. Like are you asking us to join Magcon?"

"Yes! We want both of you to be part of the fam!" Aaron said

"Just do this. Tomorrow morning at 10:00am come here. We will work everything out." Jack said

Hanna and I agreed and walked out. Both of us silent once we stepped outside we looked at each other for a second. Then we both went into this fangirl moment. Jumping, running, screaming, crying, laughing, and all sorts of things.

Chance POV

Im really worried about Gracie. She hasn't texted me back. I will admit I really like her. Ive still been in love with since we broke up in 8th grade. I was only a few house down from her. I was waiting on my porch for her to come home. Im gonna ask her to homecoming. I started to see Hanna's car pull up. Gracie noticed me and came running towards me. She jumped in my arms. I put her down and she seemed so happy. Like she is always quiet but right now she is the most hyper ive seen her.

"Chance you will never believe it!" she said

"What happened?"

She began to explain that she might be joining the Magcon family. I really didnt understand so I just celebrated with her.

"Can I ask you a question that might make you happier?" I said

She looked at me and said

"Whats up?"

I took and deep breathe and said

"Gracie, I would like to know if you would go to homecoming with me?"

She looked at me with those beautiful green eyes. The kind you get lost it.

"Yes Chance, I will. And yes that made my night 100 times better."

Those words gave me relief. I hugged her and kissed her cheek and said goodnight to her.
