They are missing; it has all started like that.

Sometimes in life, when things happen we can hardly see through the obvious. It's true indeed you can only connect the dots looking back. Being a part of that time, there was no way that we could have known, or maybe there was a way?

"Isn't that crazy? All the paintings are gone, just like that." Diana said sitting in the sofa in our small living room.

I nodded my head in reply; I still couldn't believe that "Do you remember what I have told you yesterday how I was wandering around in the gallery," she nodded back "I saw many paintings there." A flash of Joe's big painting came across my mind "Some were even really big, I just can't get it."

"Me too, ugh it's scary there are some thieves wandering around the campus now." Diana said and gasped surprised about her own realization.

"I can't imagine how the students are feeling right now, their work is stolen just like that and the event is all ruined." I said sighing.

"Yes, I think maybe we should go, Noah's painting was also stolen." Diana said pulling me up the sofa.

I don't understand much about being an artist and having your own works. I have always been the type of people who enjoy other's productions and never created anything their self. I can only imagine how bad that feels, to be excited about your painting finally meeting the world but to discover that it is gone before you realize it.

When we reached the campus, there were a lot of people around the gallery. The news sure flies fast and people always like to find something new to talk about.

"Girls, come here!" We saw Noah waving to us near the courtyard, where the paintings were there yesterday.

"There are a lot of people." Diana stated looking at the crowds.

"Yeah, a small crowd was here at the beginning waiting for the event but after what has happened everyone came to see, well this has never happened before." Noah explained.

"What will happen next?" I asked.

"The seniors called a band to come, there are some activities too," he sighed "but there's not much to do about this." He said shrugging his shoulders in defeat.

"I have no idea, but did you tell the police? I mean things were stolen." Diana said.

Noah came closer to us and he said quietly almost whispering "The dean said that they will solve this, he doesn't want this to affect their reputation," he looked around and added "but honestly that's bullshit." We nodded.

He then said "The sad thing, the event's director who's my senior had to take all the blame, he was called to the dean's office this morning, I bit he heard a lot of nonsense, there are crazy rumors about that going around," He paused clenching his jaw "It's not like the department has any security." He said.

After that, I left Diana and Noah talking, to get me something to drink. With everything that was happening the weather that day wasn't helping to cool people's mind.

It's really funny how every time I go to buy a drink, I keep looking at all the fancy names and always buy the same thing again and they all just taste the same honestly. I have already had enough of all of these crowds, so I sneaked to my favorite place at the campus. The football court. Yeah it is mostly noisy but in days like these I can just go and sit at the benches with trees everywhere you can barely feel the heat.

I went and started to check my phone, no wonder my timeline was going crazy. I have ended up following everyone who goes to this university. Of course, there was nothing else to talk about. Among this crazy mess, I found a poster by the campus's blog. it's really popular online and they are accepting a guest post for this week. People were bashing them in the replies that it's not the right time and that they didn't say anything about the paintings going missing. People are really wild online, it honestly scares me.
