Just as Carmen was (probably) about to help me (pftttt doubt it) the bell rang!
"Sorry chica! Can't be late for class! See ya later!" Carmen yelled running down the hallway.
"NO WAIT! How am I supposed to live!?!?!?" I yelled back.
Instead of going into the classroom,I stood outside the room and watched as dozens of students passed the halls and walked into my class.
"Please go into your first periods,students! No need to be late on the first day!"
Not wanting to get in trouble, I went ahead and entered the classroom.
Looking inside,I saw tons of teens throwing paper and yelling and playing. Typical high schoolers. 💁
I walked in very slowly,trying not to attract any type of attention to me(which was kinda hard because,well,I have a monster on my face...)
But of course,being the super duper idiot that I've always been,I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and tripped while also dropping my binder;letting all my new,clean notebook papers fall free.
Dang it Patience,you and you your dumbness! Is that even a word!? Ugh!!
I thought nobody would notice but then I heard,
"Wow what a dork..."
"Ewwww what kind of glasses are those?"
"Clumsy people be like...hahahaha!"
I was red in the face and i was ready to run away until..
"Hey..leave her alone. It was a simple mistake...right? Patience?" Deangelo said smiling at me.
Omg. Did he just say my name!? HE SAID MY NAME! AND IT WASN'T PATTY!
Too freaking happy to say anything,I simply nodded and went back to collecting my papers.
He knelt down by me and started helping.
"Thanks." I said quickly while grinning.
Oh god he probably thinks I'm tsundere! Say more words Patience!
"No problem."
"Y-yunno,you might as well get used to me tripping and dropping my binder a lot haha..."
He looked at me and smiled.
"And I'll help you every time. Haha."
Is this happening!? Is this actually reality!? WHY IS THE SKY BLUE!? Ok ok...getting off track here..
I'm sure a was about as red as a tomato by now...
I was blushing like crazy so instead of responding,I just smiled and looked down.
Which...was probably not the best decision because as soon as I did,my glasses fell.
It's enough that they're ugly,did they have to be slippery,too!?
Before he could see it,I quickly shoved the things in my purse.
Unfortunately, my reflexes are unnecessarily slow so he eventually saw them.
Really Patience!?
"...So hey,why do you keep shoving your glasses in your purse?"
I knew what he was asking but I didn't know how to answer! Agh!
