You and I.

To mark my words,
I don't know where to begin,
To express what I feel for you,
That feeling within.
Your sweet self ,
Melts my heart,
Your kind words are what I yearn for,
Since we're apart.

I used to think of someone like you,
Someone to hold me tight,
And see me through,
to love my eyes and my smile,
And when I'm upset to hold me a while,
To love my mistakes,
And my faults,
To remind me that yes,
This is a cruel world,
But to remember that you love me lots.

One day I want to find my place,
In between your arms,
In between your soft kisses and whispers,
In between the words of  'everything will be alright'.

Sometimes I sit, and wonder,
How it happened... you and I.
A sweet person complimenting me way too many times,
I never knew it could make me feel so warm inside,
We could of stayed as strangers,
But something happened, and here we are,
You and I.
