Jeremy's POV.

"Babe, wake up you have orientation today." Jeremy said waking me up.

Its been three days since we've been in Washington D.C.

I got up and went to the bathroom. I took a shower and bushed my teeth.

I got out and got dressed. I wore a pair of black shorts a white tee with my blue sandals and topped it with my blue half jacket. And my hair in a messy bun.

"Do you have everything?" Jeremy said as a walked into the kitchen.

"Yes. I think so." I said.

"I see you later." I said giving him a kiss.

"I'll see y'all later too." Jeremy said rubbing on my stomach.

He loves rubbing my stomach but it annoys me.

I pulled up to the school and went to the office.

"Name?" the office lady said.

"Jasmine West." I replied.

"Okay, here you are. Here's a copy of your classes and a copy of your school fees." she said handing me the papers.

"Thanks." I said leaving the office.

I visited all my classes and met all my teachers.

I was at my last teacher and his name was Mr. Jakes.

"Hello, I'm Jasmine." I said walking up to his desk.

"Hey, Jasmine have a seat." he said.

"I'm Mr. Jakes and this is my classroom. I tell all my students this. If you want to succeed, you have to put in the work." he said to me.

"I got you. I've all ways been a hardworking student." I replied.

"Well, hopefully we'll have a great year." he said shaking my hand.

"Yes, hopefully." I said leaving.

Then she told me, (Ugh!)

My phone was letting me know I had a call. I got my phone and answered it.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey boo, I haven't talked to you all day." Yass said.

"Haha, Yass its only 11:34." I said getting in the car.

"We do have the same time huh?" she asked.

"Yes honey, we do." I said.

"So, what's been up?" she asked.

"Nothing much, just came from orientation." I said pulling into McDonald's driveway.

"How was the teachers?" she asked.

"They're fine. I'm about to eat but I'll call you back." I said.

"Okay." she said.

"I love you."

"I love you too nugget." she said then hung up.

I order my food and went home. Jeremy was at work so I was alone.

I turned on the TV and ate my food.

"Sorry for the interruption but there's been a news report about a break out from jail. The name is Jerry Zingersman. If you see this guy contact us immediately." the TV said.

I dropped my fries and called Yass.

"Yass, did you see." I said in a panicking tone.

"Yes, I saw but don't panic it's not good for you." she said calmly.

"Don't panic? Don't panic? What do you mean don't panic? This man rapped us our whole lives and now you telling me not to panic?" I yelled.

"Yes, no one knows where we are. Just don't answer any unknown calls and never be alone." she replied.

"Well, that's kind of hard Jeremy is always working." I said.

"Well, find a friend. And watch your back. I have to go, I love you. And be safe." she said.

"I love you more. And same to you." I said hanging up.

Is this what I get from leaving my sister for the first time? The man whose hurt us our whole lives breaks out.

I just hope Jeremy gets home soon.
