Erika's POV
~
What an amazing way to start my new year. Finding out that the love of my life, if I can even call him that, has been sleeping around with someone. Lovely.

I looked around the room and noticed Delilah was awake in her crib. In that moment I was just thinking about her. Then I thought about Paul. Also known as the last person I want on my mind. How could he do this when we have a child together? A literal baby? What, does he just expect us to forget about it? To get over it? For me to get over it?

I grabbed Delilah out of her crib and placed her on he floor. She ran around the bedroom with her toys just playing and being a kid; having no worries.

I feel like I'm running my mind too fast. But I'm not going to stop anything of course. I'm going to figure out where the hell Paul is at. He didn't come home last night, and while I hate his guts and an partly glad he never came home, he is my child's father and I should express at least some concern. I'm not a monster. Unlike some other people in my life.

I moved my position on the bed and picked up the phone from the nightstand. I took the phone off the receiver and started dialing George's number. The one person that seems to have my back nowadays.

A few rings went by before he finally answered.

"Ello?" His tired voice said.

"Hello George! I have a question." I said.

"Alright then, let me hear it."

"Do you happen to know where Paul is?" I asked.

"Don't you like... hate him? Or aren't you supposed to at least after-" George said before I cut him off.

"You have no room to speak, because I should hate you too. You know, since you kept some things from me. But I don't, do I? I'm keeping my trust in you and trusting that you'll tell me if you happen to know where he is." I said matter-of-factly.

"My bad, Erika. Didn't expect you to react the way you did." He said.

"What is that supposed to-" I tried arguing.

"Anyways, no actually I don't have anything to keep from you. He's not at my place. If anything, ring John and he'll probably be able to tell you where. The exact coordinates to his couch and all." George joked.

We both laughed for a moment.

"Thanks, George. I can always count on you."

"Any time."

"Alright, well I'm gonna ring John. Keep an eye out for me." I said.

"Of course. Bye, Erika."

"Bye."

I hung up the phone only to pick it back up again, this time dialing Johns number. I called John about 3 times before he finally picked up.

"Ello, who is this and what do you want. Also, what are you doing ringing me this early." He complained.

"Good morning to you too, John." I laughed.
