Erika's POV
~
I was sitting with Delilah on the couch when I heard the jingle of keys. I looked to the door and when it opened, I saw Paul.

"Hey, love." He smiled.

"I have good news!" I said.

"What is it?"

"I went to an interview today. Or, an audition I guess you could call it."

"What kind of audition?" He sounded interested.

"An audition for Vogue."

Paul's eyes went wide.

"Vogue? Like, the fashion magazine?" He said and I nodded.

"They accepted me!" I smiled.

"So, this means..." Paul sounded confused.

"It means that I'm a model for Vogue."

Paul leaned over and gave me kisses all over my face.

"This is great, love!" He said. "I bet they knew what they were doing hiring you to be a model. You look more beautiful than Marilyn Monroe, if I do say so myself." He said.

I chuckled and hugged him. When I pulled away, he picked up Delilah.

"Did you hear that? Your mums a model! She's practically Twiggy."

I laughed at this.

I guess I am a model.

Erika's POV
~
Today I was going to have a photo shoot. Martin said that he wanted to get my face on a cover as soon as possible.

I walked to the front desk and the lady looked at me.

"Erika Davis. I'm here for a photoshoot."

"Of course. Come this way." She smiled.

Before she could lead me anywhere, Martin came out of nowhere.

"Erika!" He said. "Good to see you. How've you been?"

"Good."

"That's great. Follow me." He said.

I followed him down a corridor and he lead me into a room. Inside were cameras and a white sheet covering the wall. Racks of clothing were in one corner of the room.

There was a woman sitting on a chair. I assumed she was a photographer because she was holding a camera.

"Astrid." Martin said.

The girl looked our way. She had on a black outfit and short blonde hair

"Meet Miss Erika Davis."

"Hello." We both said, shaking each other's hands.

"I'm Astrid Kirchherr and I'll be photographing you today." She spoke in a thicke German accent.
