Chapter 17.

Ember's P.O.V

"Hey beautiful, I'm leaving"Austin tells me waking me up

"Hmm okay"i say streching

"I love you, see you later"he says Kissing me

"Bye my love"i walk him to the door. Once he leaves i get ready to do my daily. Right after i finish brushing my teeth Mitchell started crying, then Alec. I walked into their rooms and picked them both up. I turned on the tv, sat down and latched the babies on to eat. Breastfeeding kinda hurts, but it gives my babies more nutrition. Once they finished, i burpped them and put them in their little chairs. They faced the Tv. I sat there reading my book, when i heard the door bell ring. I walked to the front door and opened it.

"Can i help you"i ask this man

"Yeah you can actually"i hear him say. I know this voice, its Carter. I slammed the door shut and locked it. I picked up my sons and rushed them to Austin and my room. There was a key that goes to that room. I placed pillows all around them so they didn't fall off. I locked the window and placed my dresser in front of it. I could hear Carter bang on the back door.Then i locked the bedroom door and ran to the kitchen. I grabbed a 18' kitchen knife. I picked up my house phone but the line had been cut off.

"Fuck"i said to myself crying. Just then Carter busted threw the door.

"Em oh Em, you thought you could get rid of me that easy"he chuckles

"What do you want"i say crying

"What I've always wanted... You dead"he says charging towards me. I swung the knife and cut his arm. He grabbed his arm in pain.

"You fucking little bitch"he says slapping me. I fell to the floor dropping the knife. He grabbed the knife and slashed my arm. I cried in pain.

"I like this a lot more then shooting you"he laughs. He slashes my chest, then stabs the side of my stomach as he continues to laugh.I screamed in pain. I heard Mitchell starting to cry.

"Oh is that was i think it is"he asks me

"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE"i yell at him. He slashes the side of my face.

"I kill one child why not the other one too"he says pulling out a gun

"Carter please don't, leave them out of this please"i start to begg. He slapped me again. He then began to rip my clothes off. I tried to push him off but he held the knife to my throat.

"Be a good little lionness and STAY STILL"he yells at me. He ripped every piece of clothing off and started to rape me. I cried in pain, praying someone would help me. He finished and smiled at me, then stabbed me again.

"AHH"I cried. He laughed then found the key to the bedroom.

"Time to go visit the little trolls"he tells me. He starts walking towards the bedroom. I gathered up all my stregth, grabbed the knife and followed him. He loaded the gun and i jumped on him.

"GET AWAY FROM MY SONS"i scream stabbing him.He falls to the floor.

"FUCK YOU"he says trying to get up. I grabbed the gun and fired. I got him square in the chest. He falls to the floor and stops moving. I grabbed my cellphone and dialed 911. Mitchell and Alec were crying and so was i.

"911 what's your emergency"the operater said

"Please help me I've been stabbed and raped,and i think i killed someone"i tell her sobbing

"Okay ma'am tell me your address"she says. I tell her the address.

"Okay ma'am help is on the way. Is anyone else hurt cause i can hear children crying"she asks me

"No he was gonna hurt my 2 month old sons,and i stabbed and shot him. It was self-defense i swear on my children's life. He's shot me twice once before"i explain holding my side

"It's okay ma'am i believe you"she tells me. I hear the sirens sound off.

"Help is there ma'am"she tells me

"Thank you"i sob into the phone. The paramedics rushed into the room and i dropped once one of them put their arms around me.

"Ma'am its going to be okay"he tells Me

"My sons, where are my sons"i ask him

"They are right here ma'am"he says putting my on a gurdy

"Give me my babies please"i beg them

"Ma'am you are bleeding a lot you can't hold your children"he trys to tell me

"GIVE ME MY FUCKING CHILDREN, WRAP THEM UP IN SOMETHING AND GIVE THEM TO ME"I yell at him. He did as i asked. The wrapped my stomach with gaze and put me into the ambulance.

"Ma'am do you know the man that did this"the paramedic asked me

"Yes he's my exboyfriend. This isn't the first time he's attacked me. He has shot me twice and put me into a coma. Please believe me this was self-defense"i beg him while crying

"I believe you, i saw the paramedic that kept you alive the other time"one says

"Thank you"i tell him

"Is there anyone we can call"the other man asks me

"Yea my fiancee and brothers"i tell him. I gave them the numbers and they called.

Austin's P.O.V

"hello"i say answering an unfamiliar number

"Hi this Chris I'm a paramedic, we have your fiancee and your children. Your fiancee has been stabbed and raped, we need you to come down to the hospital right away"he tells me

"I'm on my way now"i say beginning to tear up

"Austin man what's wrong"Alan asks me

"Ember is in the hospital"i say crying. Alan grabbed his jacket and got into the car with me. We drove and quick as we could to the hospital. I ran inside and to the desk.

"I'm here for Ember Fuentes, please tell me where my children are"i say in tears

"You're children are in the waiting room with the uncles. Victor and Michael Fuentes"she tells me

"Thank you so much"i say running into waiting room. Where i see Vic and Mike. Vic walks up to me with the boys in his arms.

"She's okay, she's in surgery right now"he says handing over the boys. I held them close to me, they had some blood on them.

"It's alright man"Mike says rubbing my back

"She's strong"Vic says to me

"Austin there's something we need to tell you"Mike says

"What"i say looking up at them

"She killed Carter"Mike says looking down

"What"i say in shock

"He was going to shoot the boys and she charged at him with a knife then shot him square in his heart"Mike explains to me

"Oh god"i say shaking my head

"She's okay though, the cops are letting her free"Vic tells me

"Thank god"i sigh. I know she'll be strong, but i can't believe this happened.
