Chapter 1.

Prologue

*eight months ago*

Vic's P.O.V

"Vic there's so much blood"my sister says softly

"Stay with me Ember we're on my way"i tell her driving

"I'm so scared"she says softly

"We're here we're coming"i say. Mike and i rushing up the stairs,and rushed threw her open door.We find our sister surrounded in her own blood. I could see the bullet holes in her stomach and chest. I pulled out my phone and called 911. Mike immediately sat down and placed her head on his lap.

"Hello my sister has been shot"i say sobbing

"An ambulance is on their way"the lady says. i hung up the phone and joined holding my sister. Her blood was all over us and her.

"Vic...I'm so scared"she cries

"It's okay everything is going to be fine"i say moving the hair out of her face

"Where's Austin"she says looking around

"Austin isn't here"i tell her

"Why"she asks

"I will call him when we get to the hospital but you got to stay with me okay"i say smiling with tears in my eyes

"okay"she says softly.

*at the hospital*

I kept my promise and called Austin. Austin and my sister have been a thing for a couple of months.

"Hello"i hear his sleepy voice crack

"A-Austin"i said sobbing

"Vic what's wrong"his voice changes

"Ember was shot twice by her ex"i explain

"I'm on my way right now"he tells me. We got off the phone and i just put my face in my hands. I felt a small tap on my shoulder.

"Sir are you two alright. You guys covered in blood"a nurse says

"Yeah we're fine it's our sister's"i explain

"Oh I'm sorry, let me know if you guys need anything"he says smiling. We sat there for a couple of minutes till a doctor came out.

"Fuentes"he says

"Yes"Vic and i say standing up

"We have taken your sister to surgery. One bullet is logged in her Collarbone. No major organs have been puncherd but she did loose a lot of blood"he explains

"Okay thank you for letting us know"i tell him. He walked away and i sat back down. Just as we sat down Austin and Aaron walked threw the door.

"How is she"Austin asks.I could see he's been crying.

"She's going into surgery, no major organs were hurt and she lost a lot of blood"i explain

"Vic is all that her blood"Aaron asks looking shocked

"Y-yeah"i sob. Austin and Aaron just hugged me. We waited for so long till the doctor finally came out.

"How is she"Austin says

"Who are you"he asks Austin

"I'm her boyfriend,now tell me how she fucking is"Austin starts to get angry

"The surgery went well but do to the fact she lost a lot of blood she fell into a coma"he says. Austin just walked away and walked back.

"There's more"he says flipping threw papers

"What"I say worried

"She was pregnant"he tells us. All of us were shocked.

"Wha-what do you mean was"Austin says looking down

"The lost of blood and major trama and stress killed the baby. I'm sorry for your lost"The doctor says. Austin didn't say anything after that.

"When will she be awake"i ask

"It could take days,weeks,months, or years"he tells me

"Thank you"i say. The doctor walked way and all of us were silent.
