Lydia's POV
"Hello?" Lyle answers breathlessly.
"Where is he?" I ask irritated.
"Look Lydia, he's in the hospital." Lyle starts.
"What?! WHY?!" I scream.
Winter stares at me in confusion along with Lyric's mother Nadia.
"He had a really bad seizure, he's still having them they won't stop." Lyle says worriedly. "They're trying to get it under control but can't seem too."
"What hospital?" I ask.
"Uh well they med flighted him to the UW we just got to Madison. We were in Minneapolis but they transferred him because Madison is familiar with his seizure history." Lyle explains.
"Fine I'm coming up there." I say sternly.
I hang the phone up and look at Nadia then Winter. "Lyric is having seizures and they can't get them under control." I whisper.
"What?!" Nadia shouts.
Jarrod just stands there not saying a word.
"I'm coming with you." Nadia says.
"Me too." Winter says.
"No." Jarrod says sternly. "It's his fault he probably stopped taking his medicine."
"God would you listen to yourself." I whisper.
Nadia and Winter look at me in shock.
"He is YOUR SON!" I scream at him. I walk straight up to Jarrod Lyric's father and slap him across the face. "You son of a bitch." I hiss.
He slaps me across the face so hard I spin around hitting my head on the counter and everything goes black.

Winter's POV
"What the fuck is the matter with you?!" I shout at my father as I pick up Lydia.
My mom stands there but says and does nothing.
"I'm leaving." I growl at both of them.
"You leave don't you dare ever come back. You never were any better then he was." Dad booms at me.
"If you were smart, you'd file for a divorce." I whisper darkly to my mom as I pick up my best friend off the floor.
"Wake up Lyd." I whisper.
She stirs slightly then gasps sitting forward. I pull Lydia off the floor. "Come on." I say pulling her quickly toward's the door.
We run from the house getting into Lydia's car. "You okay?" I ask her.
"Fine." She mumbles as I back out of the driveway.

Lydia's POV
We reach the UW in thirty minutes half the time it should take, we park the car in the ramp and run for the elevator that takes us down to the front doors.
When we get into the lobby we ask them which floor to see Lyric they tell us the fifth floor.
Just as we get into the elevator I push for the fifth floor the elevator dings and we quickly walk out and down the hallway.
We reach a nurses station. "Hi we're here to see Lyric Storm." I say to the woman.
"Nobody is aloud back there." The nurse says sternly.
"I'm his sister." Winter says angrily.
"Riight and I'm his mom."The nurse snorts and rolls her eyes.
"Listen here you ignorant fucking bi-" I feel a hand go around my mouth.
"They're fine." Lyle say, keeping a hand over my mouth as I smirk and flip her off. She rolls her eyes but walks away.
"Damn girls you could of called." Lyle says sternly.
"Sorry." Winter sighs. "Shit hit the fan with dad."
Lyle takes a better look at me then his eyes get huge. "Oh shit."
I look away awkwardly. "It's fine."
"Jarrod did that to you?" Lyle asks in shock.
"Look I kinda may of deserved it, can I see him?" I plead.
"He's sleeping, they had to put him under to stop the seizures. He wakes up and see's your face he is sure to go into another one." Lyle says sternly.
Winter steps forward and wraps her arms around Lyle's waist. Lyle tenses up and looks over at me worriedly.
"I already know." I roll my eyes. "I'm not gonna tell him."
Lyle sighs wrapping his arms around Winter burying his face into her hair.
"You could go back but they think it was stress related, they've had him booked like everyday for a while. Plus he's been dealing with the shit with you no offense but the guy is like really stressed the fuck out. He see's what his own dad did to you he's gonna lose his shit." Lyle says.
"So you want me to just leave?" I ask.
Lyle sighs. "305."
"Thank you." I whisper I quickly make my way down the hallway and go into the room Lyle said he was in.
As soon as I open the door I hear the beeping of the machines I walk past the curtain, they have oxygen in his nose and he's sleeping.
I sigh walking up to the bed I lean down and peck him on the cheek.
"Are you his family?" A doctor comes in.
"Oh um well his girlfriend." I say.
"We got the seizures to stop, he can wake up whenever he wants too." The doctor says.
"Thank you." I whisper he nods and walks out of the room.
I look down at Lyric. "Wake up baby, please." I whisper.
He stirs slightly and try's opening his eyes.
"Lyric." I say softly.
His eyes open and look straight into mine. "Lyds?" He asks tiredly. "Mm where am I?" He asks.
"Madison UW." I tell him.
"Why?" He asks confused as he tries sitting up but I push him back down.
"You were having seizures and wouldn't stop because you don't take your medicine." I narrow my eyes at him. "You really should start taking them, something could of happened to you Lyr-" He cuts me off.
"Shh okay I'm fine baby just I'm-"
"Stressed out." I state. "Because of me." I say feeling guilty and looking away quickly.
"No baby don't even go there." He shakes his head tiredly back and forth. "Not your fault, just so much on my plate right now. I'll start taking the medicine again and-"He cuts off.
Uh oh...
"Wait a minute-" he grabs me before I can stand up away from him. He pulls me right down on top of him grabbing my face with one of his hands making me do 'fish lips.' He knits his eyebrows together as he narrows his eyes at my now black and blue face. The right side of my face is black and blue from hitting the counter.
The left side of my face is slightly bruised and swollen from being slapped so hard. "What the fuck happened to your face?!" He asks yelling angrily.
Damn it I didn't even have a chance to come up with a lie, I fell down the stairs? No...
Fuck.
He gives me an angry impatient look as I try to come up with a lie so I don't have to tell him the truth.
