This story is based in modern day LA. I haven't written a hood story in ages (like a year) and I was watching some hood movies and I wanted to write one. I usually write 90s hood movies but I wanted to write one set in 2018-2019. I got inspiration for this book by watching Kicks, On My Block, Dope and Mid 90s which is where most of the cast is from. If you've ever watched Shameless I want that type of vibe like hectic and wild. Anyways I hope you enjoy it.
