Anika POV
When I saw mallika's dupatta caught fire. I was numb. I know, i should run towards her. But i couldn't, i dont know what happened to my body. Suddenly the most terrible incident flashed on my mind. I couldn't hold myself steady. I heard mallika calling my name. But, everything suddenly went black.
I opened my eyes with jolt only to see malli sleeping beside me. I saw dried tears in her cheeks. I know, she cried. Everything is because of me only. No, I can't handle this anymore. I bent and caressed her hair and kissed her forehead.
Ani(whispers)- malli i am sorry. I love you bby. I tired a lot to be strong. But i terribly failed bby. Sorry jaan. Take care.
I went into washroom and settled myself in bathtub. Soon, I drowned myself into water to search my peaceful life. But, I think god have other ideas. Again I opened my eyes only to see myself in bed. I saw mallika's brother. He saw me with I don't know what reaction it is. Is it anger? No. Worry. No. fear. No. Ughh.. Anger. I know because I tired to commit suicide in his own bathroom. Worry. Oh common anika because of humanity. But fear.... Ok drop it I don't know. But, where is malli?.. I don't know what she is going to do now. When I am too busy in myself talk. He spoke.
Shiv- how are you feeling now? He asked sternly.
Ani(stammers)- ha? Ye..s fine. I don't dare to look into his eyes.
Shiv- why are you not answering by looling into my eyes. Oh you must be feel scared after pulling such stunt in someone's bathroom right. But, you know what you don't have to feel scared because if you can pull such stunt then you can face me also.
Ani(in mind)- what the hell. I know I have pulled big stunt but that doesn't mean he can mock me like this. But what should I do now. I know, its a very big raita which I spread now. Wait but where is mallika.
Ani- where is mallika?
Shiv- oh you are now care about her good. You know what happened to my sister.
Anika lifted her head up with jolt and saw his eyes which is accusing her now but for what.
Ani- what happened to her?
Shivaay POV
Oh she is reacting. Ok shivaay. Let's continue.
Shiv- why? Why are you showing your fake concern towards her.
Ani- plz.. Tell me.. Where is she?
Shiv- no. I won't tell you. Only because of you stupid stunt my sister in this condition. It's only because of you. If something happened to her I won't spare you.
Till now she got up from bed and came to me. The thing which she does was shocked me. She folded her hands in front of me and pleaded.
Ani- plz. I am sorry. I know I should not do like this in your room and most importantly someother's house. I did it in absence of mind. But, plz tell me where is she? I want to see her plz plz..
Omg. I can't see her like this but it is very important for her. I saw mallika behind the curtains crying bitterly by keeping her hands in month in order to control her sobs. She saw me with a pleading eyes to stop. I gave stern look and continued my drama.
Shiv- NO. I won't allow you to see her. Even if she recover also. By the way why are you showing this much of care to her. You only think about yourself right that's why you took such step then why are you feeling bad now ah? He asked angrily because he really pissed off by her stunt.
Before I could continue she fell on her knees and brust into loud cry. I can't see her like this but at the same time it's much needed for her. But, I couldn't hold myself so I bent to her level and kept my hands on her shoulder to support her. Next second, she pull and hugged me tightly and cried more. I don't know what to do. I rubbed her back but I didn't stop her cry. I saw mallika also crying. Without my knowledge my eyes also welled up with tears. She still sobbing. She spoke with much difficulty in between sobs and hiccups.
Ani- plzz..dont do like this...i love..her..so much.. I wont do..plz..plz.. I have no one in this world for me..plz allow me to see..her once..after..that I will..go away..from here..plz..plzz.. (She cried aloud again by holding his collar tightly in her fist. Before I could say anything mallika ran towards us and took her into bone crushing hug)
Sensing mallika anika holder her tightly and duo brust into cry. Both holding each other like their life depends on each other. After sometime mallika slowly broke the hug and slapped anika tightly. But anika don't dare to see her eyes.
Ani- sor..ry...
Malli- don't you dare miss. Trivedi. Don't you dare. She said bloodshot eyes.
Anika looked at her in shock.
Shiv pov ends....
Ani- malli..
Malli- I said stop. You know what you are not my anika who used to burn everyone with her mere glare. You are not my anika who always taught me to fight back. You are not my anika who loves me like anything. But you are a sick person who doesn't know to fight back. You are a coward person who only think about your stupid past and nightmares. You are a selfish person who only think about yourself. If you think about me you would never do like this. Why you did like this anu? Why? She fell on her knees and cried aloud.
Malli- why anu? Why?
Anika tried to touch her but she shoved it.
Malli- why you did that Anu? You know what you are my role model. What I am today it's only because of you. How I am today it is also because of you only. Why you became this weak Anu? Why? Plz I want my old Anu back. Plzz.. She cried vigorously.
Anika pulled her into hug. Mallika tried to come out of her hold by pushing her. But anika is not ready to leave mallika. After lots of struggle malli gave up and hugged her tightly. Anika rubbed her back in order to pacify her. After sometime they both pulled out from hug and wiped off each others tears. Shivaay watching everything with tears in eyes silently.
Ani- I am sorry malli. I will never pull such stunts ever again in my life. Plz don't leave me.
Malli- no. I won't leave you ever. But plz don't do like this again. What if shivaay bhaiya didn't come on right time. I can't even imagine life without you Anu. Plz don't do like this.. 😭😭
Ani- sholly.. I won't do like this again. She made puppy face with pout.
Malli- pinky promise.
Ani- pinky promise. They both locked each other's pinky fingers and hugged.
Mallika kissed her cheek. Anika winced in pain
Malli- kya huva baby?
Ani- paining. It was a tight slap. She pouted which urges shivaay to kiss hell out of her but he composed himself.
Malli- sholly. She said with holding her ears. Both stood up from floor.
Malli- thanks bhaiya.
Shiv- it's ok malli. Ok it's already late. We will talk on morning ok goodnight.
Shivaay looked at anika who ready have her eyes on him only.
Shiv- goodnight.
Ani- goodnight.
Shiv hooded and went to guest room. The trio slept peacefully..
