BELLE FELT SOMETHING NEW It's was as if invisible holes were poked in her skin during the night and all her tension leeched out. Her steps feel lighter and she tilted her face toward the brilliant shafts breaking through the canopy above. "Perhaps," she wondered "this is happy. This is what comes when a battle is over."
Memories from the previous night flooded into her conscious, her lips curved into a bright smile, She released a sigh of bliss as she thought of the raven haired man.
Still smiling she went into the shower and for once in her life she didn't look at her figure in cringe.
The lively redhead bounced her way into the kitchen where her cousin and mother stood "Good morning, wonderful family of mine!"
Elena and Jenna shared a strange look over their heads " I feel good, which is rare. So I've decided to go with it. Fly free, walk on the sunshine, and all that stuff. Where is Jay?"
"He left early. Something about getting to wood shop early to finish a birdhouse." Jenna replied.
"Mom there is no wood shop."
"I'm an idiot."
"Yep"⚜️
"Hi Peaches!" Belle smiled brightly at her new friend as they began walking the hallway together "Hi BooBear! Did you bring it" the redhead questioned excitedly.
Stefan released a slight chuckle at the enthusiasm his friend displayed as he held to her a book "I brought it.Told you."
Belle giggled excitedly as her chocolate brown eyes shined in awe "Wuthering Heights by Ellis Bell. You know, I can't believe she didn't use her real name."
The brunette male smiled at his cheery friend "All the Bronte sisters used pseudonyms. It was the time. Female writers weren't very accepted then."
The redhead turned to stare at her friend curiously "Where did you get it?" Her eyes profiled the male as he stiffened slightly and cleared his throat "Uh, it was passed down. Through the family."
Belle raised her eyebrow but said nothing against the lie. Instead she raised the book to her nose and sniffed it slightly. She released a giggle as she noticed the weirded out expression on Stefan's face "Some people sniff cocaine. Me? I sniff books. No but seriously there is nothing better than the smell of book."
