THE NEW LILIA PLAYED BY TAYLOR MOMSEN TO THE SIDE
Chapter 6
"What in the world were you thinking?" Luke asked us pacing around the empty classroom.
"It was only meant to drag her to maths. It was for educational purposes, I swear on my bottoms!" Sam exclaimed.
"You could've broken your necks or backs or something. You might not be here right now," Luke fumed.
"Sorry Luke," Sam apologised finally.
"I can't believe you were so stupid to do that," He growled using his Alpha tone.
Sam bowed his head and whimpered.
"I'm sorry. I'm just worried. Get to class. Maths is over," Luke softened.
Sam and I both hugged Luke sorry and goodbye before leaving to the gym.
"Sorry for hurting you," Sam said ashamedly to me.
"It's fine. It was pretty funny apart from grumpy-pants Luke," I laughed nudging his shoulder making him smile.
"We should do that more often then. We've made a discovery about our pack members - we have the ability to fly," Sam grinned.
"Not really. You just throw someone using super strength and they fly. And fall. Painfully," I mused.
"We should just ditch last period. It's already started." Sam suggested pointing a thumb back towards the car park.
"But it's gym. Everyone loves gym." I whined tugging on his arm.
"Fine. But only because you're buying my Baja Blast after school." He pouted walking towards the gym after me.
We got changed in the change rooms first. I put on black Nike Pro shorts and a white Nike sports bra. Then I just put my maroon North Face jacket over the top.
When we walked into the huge gymnasium, the whole class turned to face us. We walked over to where Matt and Alex were standing and the teacher let us off with a warning.
"God, Mr Orfan's a fuckin' dick." Sam swore.
"Okay class, today we'll be heading outside to the chin-bars to test your strength. Find a place on the bar and space yourselves evenly, Axel and Tiffany." He directed to the two. Axel smirked when he saw me looking at him. Don't blame me, even I can't resist the mate pull. It is as strong as old people say. I couldn't help but feel the pang of jealousy when Tiffany smashed her painted pink lips against my mates before walking to her friends that giggled like banshees.
"I'll get the stopwatch. Everyone else head out," Mr Orfan instructed.
*There is really a Mr Orfan that teaches PE in my school. And there's a substitute teacher called Mr Haure. Whenever he introduces himself he says "Pronounced whore, spelt differently," No joke I might video it next time and put it on the side*
"I'll bet you fifty dollars that she," Matt pointed to me as he talked to some pea brain jock, "can last longer than you on the bar."
"Deal. She's a girl. I'm so getting that money." He high-fived all his jock friends after the bet was made.
"I'm so getting fifty bucks after PE." Matt grinned evily.
"Let's go hustle other kids." Alex nudged Matt and they walked away to another guy. Everyone in this class was a werewolf, but they don't all know about our powers so they probably think I'm just a weak girl.
"I'll go easy on you princess." The guy that made a bet with Matt called out to me.
"Okay, thanks. I'm really weak so i'll probably lose." I smiled back sweetly. Barf.
"How about you, call me after and we can hang out?" He smirked.
"If you win against me, sure." I turned back to Sam and smiled proudly.
"Griffin and Carly are coming with us to New York after school." Sam told me after looking down at his phone for a text he recieved.
"I'm not driving." I said putting my hands up.
"No, I am. We're taking my Jeep." He laughed.
I squealed and jumped up and down, "I love your Jeep!"
Sam was about to reply but Mr Orfan came outside and everyone rushed to the bar. I hung next to Sam and Matt and Alex hung on the other side of Matt. This was a piece of cake. Then I remembered the bet and dropped down before anyone could see me. The guys stayed up talking about football not even breaking a sweat.
"Everyone start hanging. On the count of three, you have to continually be doing full chin-ups." Mr Orfan ordered.
I got up on the bar and acted like it was already hurting my arms.
"3... 2... 1!" Mr Orfan blew the whistle and started the timer.
I pulled my chin up above the bar and let myself down. I wasn't even using my super strength and this was easy.
Two people dropped off on my first three and people just started dropping continually after. The boys and I were still going easy and it had been seven minutes. I looked over and saw that Tai, the jock who made a bet with Matt, had beads of sweat rolling down his face.
I tried covering up my laugh so he wouldn't take much notice to me.
Some of Axel's pack warriors started dropping off which meant we'd been on for a long time.
I was actually the best fighter in the world. They held the World Championships WW, WW for WereWolf, a few months ago and I kicked all of their asses. Therefore, I was dubbed Supreme Warrior. The event was very limited, meaning the only people that could watch were a fighters pack members or other really rich wolves who could afford to get in.
"This is boring." Matt complained.
"I'll drop with you." Alex replied.
They both dropped at the exact same time landing on their feet without collapsing like other people.
"Argh!" Tai yelled before hitting the group with a thud. He rolled around on the grass moaning and people gathered around him as if he were freaking God. Matt squealed, yes, squealed, and fist pumped.
"Go Kendall!" Alex called in a girly voice.
I looked over quickly and saw Axel on the ground making out with Tiffany. I think someone just set my heart on fire and ripped it apart to little shreds.
I scowled and dropped leaving Sam behind, "That was getting so boring. The boy's stronger than I thought."
+++++++
I slammed my locker door shut and slung my Nike backpack over my shoulder. Damn, I have a serious obsession with Nike.
Since my last name began with B for Blake, my locker was in a different corridor to Carly and Griffin. Manning and Sparkes were in the K-T block. Sam was in the A-J block with me - his last name was Gunning. Not many of us were in the U-Z block. We all planned to meet at my locker since it was closest to the car park.
"KUHN-DUHL!" Griffin yelled. Running towards me normally.
Carly trailed behind her looking super sad.
"What's wrong Carls? Turn that frown upside down." When she reached me, I took her face in my hands and attempted to pull the sides of her mouth up into a smile.
"I met my mate." She tried to tell me while I was squishing her cheeks together.
I dropped my hands and squealed, "Yay! Who is he?"
"He's the Beta of this pack. From what I've heard, he sleeps around." Her voice cracked halfway through.
I never told anyone the name of my brother. Only that he never stood up for me and bullied me as much as everyone else. Kade, my brother, was Carly's mate. Nuh-uh. I've gotta whip that boy into mate shape.
"We'll figure it out on the way to New York. Do not fret my Carly-kins." Griffin ruffled the top of Carly's head before linking our arms in hers and forcing us to super speed out of the school and to where Sam was waiting by his Jeep.
