"You're not like other Slytherins, it's...worrysome."
"And I haven't killed anyone, be glad."
TITLE* | THEORY OF DEATH OC NAME(S)* | EMILIA BUTERA FACE CLAIM(S) | KATERINA GRAHAM LOVE INTEREST* | DRACO MALFOY / NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM SEASON OR MOVIE | GoF — Deathly Hallows (?) SUMMARY↴
EMILIA BUTERA, PART OF SLYTHERIN AND A USUAL TROUBLEMAKER, HAD NEVER THOUGHT TOO MUCH ABOUT FAMILY. The adopted witch had been absent minded of the concept. She had no family to properly speak of besides her very much muggle guardians. Throughout the years, she obviously hadn't been informed of the very world she was originally born in,
Eventually, the wondrous world of magic had found her once again. Hagrid, a kind and unfamiliar face, had come to gather her for Hogwarts. With hesitation, she welcomed the invite to such a differing environment. Leaving the muggle world, she soon realized there was much to learn and even more to do.
Quickly, she became accustomed with the warring houses of Hogwarts and the resident golden boy, Harry James Potter. He and her were probably the only ones who didn't really know about the famous Potters. The two sorted into vastly different houses. Harry in Gryffindor and Emilia in Slytherin.
Alas, they had come to an agreeable friendship, somehow. Emilia wasn't like every other Slytherin and Harry actually cared for others. By the time she had finally been sorted out, Draco Malfoy and just about every other Slytherin decided to prematurely establish a rivalry. Just like he'd done with Harry, the Malfoy boy tried to get in with a promising witch but she recognized the ploy quickly enough. He was an ass, that much was clear to the Butera girl. Snappy remarks exchanged between the teens, already setting the rivalry in place. Hell, the only reason they tolerated each other in the future was because of a friendly competition & their shared affiliation with Blaise Zabini.
With the common indifferent friendships in Slytherin, she had befriended or not pissed off most of the residents of the prestigious academy. The golden trio amongst the likes of Cedric Diggory had acquainted themselves with Emilia as the glory of the Goblet of Fire seemed to creep up on them.
Alas, as the time to pray for safe results, life seemed to draw a different outcome. The slytherin had more in common with Harry Potter than she thought.
A Theory of Death would be proven, no matter the price.
