My Thoughts On Love

Now I like her...

It is true that when met her, it was my intent,
On getting to know her and be more than friends,
But after we got a little fond of each other,
I took her number,

We hardly met or even speak,
2 sentences were it's peak,
I forgot about being more,
As my work would distract me nor was I sure,

But during that short holiday,
Our bond grew straight away!
I'd tease her and make fun of her,
And her reactions drew our friendship together!

By this time I forgot,
That being with her was my plot!
With her my soul resonate,
And there's only few that I can relate,

N to her I showed more friendly feelings,
Than I used to give her to begin with,
But when season end and we came back,
Our conversations slightly gave back,
We spend our time together,
And didn't just speak about the weather :)

She had interest in someone else,
It doesn't bother me, since I am her friend,

And since the introduction of this new element,
Yes! I'm talking her boyfriend,
Messaging has become hardly a thing,
N face to face became the norm
Even then we aren't the same,

N what I feel, I think its changed,
But I won't pursue that tingling change,
Cause to her she sees a really great friend,
N I don't mind in the end...
