ハルカの話—Haruka’s Story

Rin: Ready?

Haru: Hai! Ganbarimasu! (*´▽`*)

Rin: Why don't we start off with a small self-introduction? c:

Haru: Un, okay (^0^)7

Then, what should I add in my introduction? O.o

Rin: Anything you want. My last interviewee stated her genre of writing and some interests she has.

Haru: Okay :D

Konnichiwa, I'm Haru, currently I'm writing a story about my life with my husband. But first I joined in wattpad it was for reading stories in English, cause yes I'm Japanese and my English isn't good. so it's fun to learn English in here by reading stories (^--^) I'm fan of ice cream, cakes, and puppies.

Rin: Then, talking about your English, which is actually very good, but what kind of difficulties do you face being a Japanese writer publishing works in English?

Haru: Hmm... sou da ne... Well, I think when I wrote my story in English I always got confused deciding the tense and the correct grammar. Also my vocabularies not really good which troubled me finding the right words ^^

Rin: Luka seems to know English well, so does he often help you in your studies or do you do it on your own?

Haru: Hmph, that's right that my husband is better in English, but he is a bit impatient, so when I asked him to teach me he would be a strict teacher haha. and he always goes like "Why you can't remember well?! I'm done!" like that. Also cause he is busy, I can't ask his help, but when he is in good mood, he offers help :D

Rin: That's sweet of him. (:

A bit more serious though, in my last Japanese class, we had a week or two discussing homosexuality in Japan. It isn't a very widely accepted thing like it is in America and particularly in the region that I'm from, so how do you deal with the negativity towards your sexuality?

Haru: Sou da ne... Japan hasn't accepted homosexuality yet, as well as my uncle and Ruka's family whom oppose us badly. But Japan doesn't put me and Ruka like we're wrong, because its Laws doesn't really take homosexuality as crime and stuff.

I and Ruka don't really like to show our affection in public therefore not many people know that we're couple haha.

If someone asks us about our relationship, We usually said we're family, then it won't bother others and us
