Hettie tries to avoid answering Deeks' question and walks away. But Deeks wont drop it that easily. "Hettie?" He urges her to answer him. Hettie stops and turns to him. She sighs and says : "no im afraid that will not be possible because it will be clearly visible underneath your tuxedo." Deeks does his best not to look worried. "But dont worry, mister Deeks. You're in good hands. Sam and Callen will be with you throughout the whole mission. They'll look out for you." There was is no use in opening a discussion with Hettie about this subject. She is very stubborn so there would be no changing her mind. Hettie leaves him standing there.

Deeks doesnt know if he should feel challenged or just scared. Only seconds later, a whistle-sound comes from up the stairs. Deeks looks up and sees Eirc hanging over the railing. "Mister Beale, can I remind you that there are no dogs in here, just humans and we dont whistle to get people's attention?!" Owen says with a strict tone. Its a good thing Owen doesnt know that there actually are dogs in here. He would freak! "Sorry sir. Wont happen again." Eric promises. "Deeks, i want to walk you through the plan. Could you come up here for a second?" Deeks gives him a quick nod and pulls himself up the stairs. Eric has the entire plan worked out on the big screen. "Impressive!" Deeks says. "Yeah I cant take full credit. Nell did some of the work." Eric says flattered. "Some of the work?!" Nell says, while coming into the room. She gives Eric a playful smile. "Well that doesnt really matter right now. Lets get to the plan." Eric says, clearly excited to share his ideas. "Yeah lets do that." Deeks says smiling slightly nervous. His handpalms are sweaty. Eric notices and cant help but ask ; "are you nervous? You look nervous.. whats wrong? You'll be fine. Sure its dangerous but Sam, Callen and Kensi have your back. Plus you'll be wearing a vest so.." befores Eric goes any further, Deeks interrupts him. "Thats just it. Im not getting a vest.. Hettie just told me it will be visible underneath my tux." Eric doesnt really know how to respond to this. He looks at Nell for help. "Im sure Hettie will make sure nothing happens to you. She wouldn't send you out there if she wasnt sure if she could keep you safe. Trust me, I know." Nell says and looks deep into Deeks' eyes. He replies with a smile. "Thanks. You're right." he knows she is right, as usual, but his mind is still not at ease. its not just his safety at stake. Kensi's safety aswell.. he would die before he would let anything happen to her. he may not show to it like his to everyone but there is a passionate fire inside him for his partner.
