calum hood.

while he is my best friend we did date back in the 10th grade. he was my first everything, i wouldn't have it any other way. we did end our relationship because we realized we're better as friends. it was awkward at first but after we sat and talked for about 5 hours at the ass crack of dawn about everything we ended with a hug and our friendship was back to the old, playful, caring relationship it was.

he's has a series of girlfriends after we dated and they all were very different. he went from cheer captain to the book nerd to the popular (slutty) girl. none of them lasted too long, but he enjoyed dating them all.

me on the other hand i haven't had a serious boyfriend since calum. i've had a few flings here and there, but nothing to keep me tied down. i enjoyed having the freedom to be with who i want when i want.

my phone vibrated next to me and i groaned in frustration. i could never get my work done.

"yes calum what?" i said as i put the phone on speaker and continued jotting down information for my resume.

"you filling out ur resume?" he spoke after laughing at my aggravated tone.

"no shit hood i really want that job but you refuse to help me"

"all for good reason doll u gotta earn that shit man" he said putting extra emphasis on "earn".

"you know you're probably just too lazy to help me out man" i groaned and i placed my pencil down while getting off my bed. i ended up walking around my room arguing with calum a bit but ended up dropping the conversation.

"okay so there's this sick party that one of my coworkers is throwing. we should go, think you guys would really hit it off." and there's typical calum. he's always trying to hook me up with people he knew.

"and how would this guy be any different than the last guy you said 'i'd be perfect with'? huh? the last dude was so weird." i shuddered at the thought of eli, the weird bar tender that would always stare me down whenever i went there.

"okay i'll admit he was something else. didn't know he'd try to pull the moves on you." he laughed, but i could tell he felt a little bad.

i thought about it, it has been a while since i've been hammered and it's not like i had anything important going on tonight.

"i mean, i guess i could go.... gives me an excuse to dress up i guess." i spoke with uncertainty. i could hear cheers on the other side from calum and i'm assuming luke, a friend of calum's who i haven't met in person yet.

"yeah!!! that's awesome okay well i can pick u up around 830 so be ready to rock and roll by then okay?" he yelled excitement lacing his voice.

"yeah okay man let me go get in the shower now so i can get ready." i laughed climbing out of my bed, the blanket that was wrapped around me falling from my shoulders.

"okay okay remember 830!!" he yelled i could hear tumbling around and i laughed at my crazy friend.

"okay bye calum i'll see u at 830." i laughed and hung up the phone.

let the night begin.
