Kellie and I talked for a while until we got tired and she hung up. After that, I tried to sleep, but I couldn't help rolling around in my bed. Had that really just happened? I just met Panic! At The Disco. Eventually around ten in the morning I slept, but it was interrupted by a knock on my door. I dragged myself out of bed and opened the door to no one, so I looked down and saw a little lanyard with a card on the end.
"Backstage pass..?" I whispered to myself. "Oh my fucking god."
I was so unbelievably excited for the concert now. I get to meet them backstage! After fanboying I noticed a small paper under the door. A phone number. I left it alone until later and hung out for a bit until I got ready. Since Panic was pretty popular and there was definitely going to be a few hundred people there I decided to go early. After driving for an hour I got to a rest spot. I relaxed for a bit until I remembered the small crumpled up phone number in my pocket. I took it out and went into the bathroom. Instead of calling right away I decided to text the number before I called. I typed the number into my phone.ryan: whos this?
?: who's you?
ryan: you left this number in my hotel door
?: oh
ryan: so who are you?
?: ill tell you later
ryan: okay?
I ignored it and left. After that I drove for another hour until I got to the venue. There was about a hundred people waiting outside in line. I grabbed my ticket and backstage pass and waited for about another hour until they let us in and I rushed to get barricade. The openers came on and off, and minuets later there they were. Panic! At The Disco was in front of me once more. The show was so different since Ryan and Jon left. Soon my favorite song came on and I couldn't help myself as I jumped and danced around.
Sadly the show came to an end but I still had the backstage pass. I doubted it was real, but it was worth a shot. I saw a security guard and walked up to him.
"Hey, do you know if this is a valid pass, or is it just fake?" I asked. The man checked a paper and nodded.
"It's real." The man answered as a smile grew on my face. "I'll take you backstage."
The man walked me backstage and once more, there was my all time favorite band, Fall Out Boy. Just kidding, it was Panic! once more. The members greeted me, but for some odd reason Dallon's greeting stuck out to me. He seemed more focused on me then the other band members. Was I just overreacting? This all seemed crazy. We chatted until I had to leave. They all said bye and hugged me, but once again, Dallon's hug stuck out. Again, I'm probably over reacting, but he gave more of a firm, loving hug. Maybe he just did that with everyone?
Before I left I felt Dallon place something in my hand, a guitar pick. I smiled, and he gave me another strong, loving hug. I walked out and got into the car, but then I saw Dallon run out. He ran up to my car and gave me a paper.
"it was me :)", it read.
