Chapter 5: Being a demigod has its perks
"Whoa, whoa, wh-!" I yelled as I was tackled to the bed.
What the fuck?! I think they're hornier than me, I swear.
"Not that I'm complaining, but why are you like this?" I said.
"What? You don't like this?" Luna asked, as she ran fingers under my shirt and up my chest.
"That's not what I asked... Athena? What do you think you're doing?"
"Just be quiet, and enjoy yourself."
Beatrix whispered, pressing her breasts to my face.Well, this is an awkward time to show up.
"What the hell? Who said that?"
"She's here, Athena." Beatrix said.
"Who's she? Girls, what's going on?!" I asked, panicked.
Hello, Axel," the strange voice said from behind me, "I'm Valerie."
"Why, might I ask, are you here? And what aren't you telling me? I can tell your not a normal human."
"Very perceptive, I'm a Valkyrie."
"Fuuuck. Sorry about killing your leader. Well, if you're here to kill me, I'd try now. But if I get a finger on you, I'll have your powers and prowess in combat. So, yeah." I said.
"Why is it your first instinct that people wanna kill you?" Beatrix asked, sounding worried.
I sat up, and took several deep breaths.
"Ok, so when I was younger, my wings wouldn't retract. At school, kids would threaten to kill me constantly. One day, as I was walking to school, two teens jumped me. They ripped out one of my wings. Both used to be white like an angels, but the one that got ripped out became black after that day. It's black, because when they ripped out my wing, I kinda... kinda died. I was brought back to life by a demon. As a precaution, they wiped my memory. That's why I couldn't remember anything about the wings for years. The only reason I know now is because I asked my aunt a few weeks ago. So, yeah. Death is just kinda a thing that is festering in the back of my mind."
I looked up. All of the girls' faces were stunned. I got up, and walked to the bathroom. I heard muttering outside the door as I splashed water on my face. I ignored the first knock at the door, but when I heard crying, I dried my face and stepped back out into the living quarters. As I walked out, I saw Luna whimpering on the edge of the king sized bed. Worried, I walked over to her.
"What's wrong? You don't have any reason to be crying. Is it something I said?"
She wrapped her arms around my neck and buried her face into my shoulder. I ran a hand down the back of her head, and looked towards the other girls.
"What. Did. You. Say?" I asked, glaring at them.
Beatrix and Athena took a step back. I looked at Valerie. Without saying a word, I stood up, and walked over to her.
"Axel! Don't!" Athena yelled, but it was too late. I picked up Valerie by the throat , and pinned her to the wall.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't snap your neck and throw you out of this room!" I yelled, squeezing her throat harder.
"Set her down." Luna sniffed.
"Fine." I said, setting her down, but not releasing her arm. "Luna what did she say to you?"
"I told her... that you... didn't actually like her, and you're just using her as a sex toy." Valerie said.
"Huh. If that's what you think then you're just as dumb as Odin was. Unlike you valkyries, Luna is able to understand men. You're unable to know how I feel. I could crush you, here and now, if that's what you'd prefer. Or, you can apologize and I may let you live." I growled, squeezing her arm harder.
