They were as different as night and day, as different as black and white. One was cheerful and the clouds seemed to part wherever she walked. The other had a constant dark storm surrounding his being. One was approachable but the other seemed to ward off people no matter where he was. She was bright as glitter but he was dull like a blank piece of paper. They should have never had a relationship but their love had no reasoning.

At first interactions were limited to shy glances with pink cheeks as their eyes met but it all started to blossom when she said the first hello. Shy glances turned to staring, tinted pink cheeks turned to red faces and casual hellos turned to flirty conversations.

After three months of teasing, he finally gained the courage to ask her to their school's dance. As he entered his class, pink flower petals were thrown at his face as he saw his angel standing in front of him with a sign that read "Will You Please Go To The Dance With Me." The smile that split his face was so enormous that his gums showed, he swept her up in his arms and muttered a soft of course into her soft hair.

It was at that time, he realized, even though they might be as different as night and day, as different as black and white. Even though she was cheerful and the clouds seemed to part wherever she walked whereas he has a constant storm surrounding his being. Even though she was approachable and he seemed to ward off people wherever he went, he knew that she was the glitter that covered his blank piece of paper. She was the one that brightened his dull life and when they were together, there was an explosion that covered everyone around them in black and white glitter.
