You'll Regret the Rejection

Chapter 13

XANDER POV

What the heck my little sister and my best friend are mates. I look at Adam and he looks at her with love, adoration, and lust?! I look at Crystal tears well up in her eyes and she shakes. Adam starts walking to her. I see Victoria walking to her but Crystal pushes her away. I see Crystal running away. I see Adam running behind Crystal. I move really fast and I grab Victoria arm as she starts to walk away. When I touch her I feel sparks all over my hand.

"Let me go"

"No VictoriaI we need to talk."

She rips her arm away from me. She turns around and she gives me a deadly glare.

"We have nothing talk about"

"We have a lot to talk about"

I grab her arm and I pull her to me. She puts a hand on my chest. I put one of my hands on her cheek and an arm around her waist I rub my thumb on her cheek. I purr for finally having my mate in my arms. She looks into my eyes and I stare at her with love and sorrow. She has sorrow, heartbreak, and worry in her eyes. 

" I'm sorry Victoria"

I put my forehead on hers and I said the words I've been dying to say to her since the day she left.  All of sudden I hear the annoying voice of a banshee. 

"Well well if isn't my bratty little sister getting comfortable with my mate like she does with every man."

I hear the smirk in her voice thinking that I'm her mate. I do a low growl for ruining this moment between Victoria and me. Victoria pushes away and she puts her hands on hips.

"Even if he was your mate then why do you have another man's scent all over you"

When I hear that I try not to laugh. Victoria says with a smirk on her and with attitude in her voice. Emily does an angry puff and stomps her foot.

"Now excuse me I have to go be there for someone who cares about me. Something you two will never understand"

Victoria turns around and she starts walking in the direction that Crystal ran off in. I start walking behind her.  I start picking up my pace. She starts running and she doesn't stop I try to run after her but Emily gets in front of me and puts her hand on my chest. 

"Come on Xander don't you want a real woman, not a little girl?"

She tries to say in a seductive voice but it sounds like cats claws down a blackboard. Her hands go up and down my chest I grab her hands and look in her eyes with rage and I say.

"If you ever talk bad about anyone in this pack especially your future luna I will make you rogue faster then a blink of an eye. And if you ever touch me again or Victoria or cause her harm I will snap your neck faster then you can say, rogue. You understand?"

I feel her shake with fear.

"Y-yes a-alpha"

I let her go and she runs away from me. I start sniffing for Victoria scent but it doesn't help that's there so many people and the fact that my wolf shuts down every time Victoria is gone. I want to talk to Crystal but I'm probably the last person she wants to see. I go into the kitchen and I see Adam taking a shot. I go up to him.

"What are you doing man shouldn't you be with Crystal or talking to Victoria?"

"Yeah right I'm the last person she wants to see for both of them"

"You wanna bet"

"I actually do"

"Okay let's see"
