XANDER POV

NO!

I try to run to Victoria but my father and Adam push me back. I scream and thrash around.

VICTORIA!!!

My screams shake the hospital. I growl, eventually, my father and Adam push me then closes and lock the door. I shake from anger.

"Move"

My voice has a deadly tone. Adam speaks up.

"No Xander. You'll distract the doctors and nurses from saving Victoria".

I growl knowing that he's right. I go to my father.

"This is your fault! Even if there was a chance that Victoria would be with me; You just single handedly just destroyed it!"

I turn around and groan. I turn back around and look at my father.

"You say you care about this pack and everyone in it. Yet, you just sacrificed your pack, your best friend's daughter, and me. You are willing to sacrifice me?

"YOU ARE WILLING TO SACRIFICE ME. YOU'RE ONLY SON!"

I flip a chair and punch the wall. I feel my wolf on edge, I run out of the hospital. I shift into my wolf. I start running and running. I lose track of time eventually, I stop and I start walking home. I look at the clock at the house. It's been 3 hours. I go to my room I shift back, I lock the door, I get some clothes from my drawer, I enter the shower.

〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰One hour later〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰

I finally get out of the shower with a towel around my waist. I change into pajamas, then comb my hair. I go to pick up my phone to call Adam when I drop it. It somehow gets under my bed. I reach under the bed; I feel something like my phone. I pull it out and it's a picture frame, I pulled it out where I can't see the picture. I flip it over and it's a picture of Victoria and I. When we were little she was 2 years and I was 3. The picture is one of those model agency pictures. Our mothers wanted a picture of us together. We showed up at the agency but Abel (Victoria's father) and my father had to leave for something urgent. As soon as Victoria's father mentioned leaving Victoria teared up. The closer he got to the door the closer she was to crying. As soon as he walked out that door she started crying. No matter what her mother tried, Victoria could not stop the tears. Victoria started getting fussy; her mother put her down she started walking not perfectly because she hadn't fully learned how to.

She started walking to the door; I got in front of her and hugged her. She was silently crying. She hugged me back; I walked her back to her mom. She put her arms up. Her mom picked her up, she whispered in her ear then; Victoria nodded her head. She put Victoria down on where she needs to be in the picture. I stood behind her and I smiled. Victoria had a small frown, her eyes were red and puffy, her cheeks were a little wet. The photographer took the pictures. When the pictures were done Victoria walked to her mom. Her mom picked up and she was shaking, sniffling, and whimpering.
