Rachel POV
For fuck sake I thought to myself. I can't believe Michael saw me in that state. it's all my dads fault, he's the one who has a bad temper, thank god he went out though. I had about 2 hours before he came back from the bar, and then he would most likely head to his friends house so that was okay he wouldn't be back till about 8:30 tomorrow morning.
I decided to start my homework and I was five minutes into my maths and already I was stuck, I thought for a few minutes then I finally decided to ring Michael
"Hello?" said Michael
"Hey it's rachel" I said "do you know how to do the maths homework?"
"Of course, ill help you out" he replied and with that we did our homework together....over the phone.
Michaels POV
when the phonecall was over I heard a knock on the door. I went to answer it and I saw Luke standing at the door with a bag in his hands.
"What happened luke?" I asked
"My mom and I got in a fight so can I stay here tonight?" luke said
"Ye sure you can sleep in the back room" I said.
We walked up the stairs and Luke told me all about what was going on in my old school, nothing exciting.
But then Luke showed my something that made my heart skip a beat.
"Ashton and his cousin still aren't talking and his cousin is threatening to take back the offer" luke said with a worried look in his eyes.
I tried to remain calm and I replied with
"Ashton will sort it out"
" I hope so said Luke" and then he fell asleep.
I went back to my room and saw I had a text from Rachel's phone. I opened the message and it said...
Thank you for the help with my maths homework and thank you for making me feel better after what my dad did I appreciate it
