Vanitas swing it's spear horizontally at me, the body will split to half if one to get hit by the attack.

So with that in mind, I kick the ground and quickly jump at the back to avoid that full swing.

Without wasting time, I gather a qi energy into my uchigatana, the blade start to glow blue while inside the hilt.

"Kazekiri!"

I unsheathed the uchigatana and launches a cutting wind to Vanitas by focusing a current of wind, or in some cases sound, to the point where it takes on a sharp edge.
(Note: razor wind)

After getting hit by my strike, Vanitas were knock back a few inches, there was a mark of a sword cause by my attack in it's torso.

[Damage received, proceeded to activated skill on 3....2....1]

There it is, the most iconic skill that Vanitas always use after receiving damage.

[Fortify activated]

A faint light sprung out from its body to wrap it, as if protecting it entirely. I can feel that the defense status has increased.

Fortify, like the name suggest, it is a high level skill that increase the user defense stat but decreasing the movement speed stats, the buff last at least 5 minutes the buff can be stacked by the same skill over and over to the point that the damage it receive reduce to 0, but the duration of the skill won't be extended.

It will cast a Fortify everytime it received damage and sometimes use other defensive skill.

It is the skill that Vanitas always use and earn the nickname 'Phalanx'.

"It seems a physical damage will deal less damage now, in that case–"

I pull 5 talisman from my bag, all of them have the pentagram in red color and a '爆発' written in the middle of the pentagram.

"Haretsu"

I chant in a low voice and send the talisman flying to Vanitas. Upon making contact with the giant, the pentagram on the talisman shine red and *BOOM* explode on the surface of its armor.

[Activating skill–]

"Chance!"

I pull another 2 talisman from my bag, both still has a word written with a red color along with a pentagram, but this time the character written in the middle of Pentagram is '爇', and '強化'.

I toss the talisman with '爇' character to Vanitas.

"Hiyake!"

The talisman suddenly turn into fireball and approach Vanitas. The golem shield itself with the round shield to block the fireball.

The impact let out a explosion on the shield and after that, I quickly dash into the golem at high speed.

"Kyōka suru!"

The other talisman turn into a particle of light and enter the blade of my uchigatana. It was to sharpen the blade and increase the power for at least 2 hit.

"Kazekiri!"

I launched the first strengthen cutting wind slash to Vanitas, and the second one to the armor.

[Skill interrupted, the damage received has exceed the the parameters. Activating the fortify skill 30 times.]

A light sprung out from its body to wrap it again.
