(Miyako POV)

I was sitting in seiza* on the cushion laid on the room of tatami mats, and was gazing at the pink flowers swaying in the wind.

"There's nothing more relaxing than drinking tea ~."

I make a small smile while sipping my green tea.

Just then, I noticed a figure that walking to the direction of dojo, it was a young man with a well build body figure with a black hair and a short hair girl who dress like some kind of onna bugeisha*.

The boy is my son, Kagura Shinomiya and his shikigami, Tomoe.

"I guess they are going for another training as usual ~."

Kagura has been obsessed with training ever since he was five years old,

I can still remember him asking me to train him on the way of onmyōdō, obviously as a mother and as an onmyōji, it is my duty to teach my son all I can so I accept his demand and teach him all I can.

Until now he is still bad at onmyōdō, especially in yin yang practice but he has quite good understanding in the theory and has quite a talent in five elements study.

"He has a slow development unlike Kouta and Miyuki, but I think that's ok for now ~."

I grab an an iron kettle being heated up in a small hearth of about 40 cm beside the table then poured hot water from the iron kettle into a small teapot and steeped the tea.

Kagura return to house about a weeks ago after conquering an ancient ruin and bring alot of treasure with him with a huge airship.

I don't know why there is such airship in the ruin but Kagura says that the airship is a regalia made by the king of that ruin, going by that means the kingdom has at least advance civilization than this age.

And it seems he brought a two wondering spirit with him, they say that they want to make a contract  with him.

It surprised me though, not because Kagura got himself a shikigami.

It's normal for an onmyōji to at least got shikigami.

What makes me surprised is that,he got himself a kami level of spirit. And not just one but two.

Shikigami were divided into 3 types. The first one is ghost spirit, you can always find them anywhere and even make a contract with them as long as their soul haven't been tainted by darkness.

The second one is ayakashi spirit, they are the existence that you can call a monster, ayakashi is the most stronger than a ghost spirit and more unique, but you have to at least satisfied or finished the request they ask before an ayakashi can make a contract.

Lastly is kami, some kami are no different than a ghost when it comes to appearance, but they have something that a ghost don't have which makes them special, and that is because of their deed that they perform in the past and most of them are worshipped by people

Many kami are considered the ancient ancestors from the past, some ancestors can became kami upon their death if they were able to embody the values and virtues of kami in life. Traditionally, great or sensational leaders like the Emperor or great king or even a Hero could be or became kami.

I'm super happy and proud that our son has got an extraordinary being to watch over him, but me and Gouki are worried of what would happen if the empire knows such feat.

"The land that he found is already enough to get the attention of emperor ~, if they were to find out that Kagura possess such power then they will consider him as a threat of the empire ~."
